The energy choices website, web pages talk about 'social tariffs' yet the site is incapable of providing comparisons for social tariffs. Even entering my usage details in the comparison application. It then gives me incorrect prices against my actual payments. ie. after entering my usage for gas and electric and entering my plan ' energy fit saver 5 ' Eon . It says I would save £125 a year and pay £1,500 annual. ( forecast ) for 'First Utility' yet my actual amount I will be paying is shown on my Eon Bill ( forecast for coming year ) is £1,363 . therefore the energychoices website is contradicting the prices I am ACTUALLY paying ! So the recommended supplier ( Fist Utility) would be MORE expensive than Eon ( my current supplier ) NOT cheaper as stated !
