Everything you need to train and friendly staff.

Really impressed with the gym facilities & staff. It's been years since I've been in a gym as I trained at home. The staff are friendly & helpful and after a free session I decided to join.

Just started in January and I'm really impressed! The atmosphere is super welcoming, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. It’s a great environment to stay motivated—looking forward to making this my regular spot.

Stuck in a contract to a gym with not only consistently broken equipment but unsafe equipment. The cable pulleys for example, one side has had a 2.5kg plate missing the entire time without me knowing, causing dangerous shoulder instability. Now it has been completely broken for ages. It's a small gym, this equipment is essential for my program. The other (small) cable machine has tiny DIY bolts in place of the broken SAFETY PINS... Which hurt to use, and I don't trust the stability of it. Ontop of this, that machine is also slanted (maybe on uneven floor?) so even with both pins in the same hole, the mechs don't line up. Creating more dangerous shoulder instabilities. Loads of equipment with broken safety bins, bent bars, broken padding, and theres not even a straight bar to do pull-ups, only inverted ones. I regret signing up

Joined but was really nervous as i havent used a gym in a long time.

The staff showed me round and sat me down to ask what i wanted to do. They set up an exercise plan for me and then took me through the exercises so I could get used to the machines.

The services are okay until you try to cancel. You can't cancel though the website and have to send an email. However, I was blissfully ignored despite sending multiple messages. For the record I was on a monthly contract. I was left with the option of continuing to pay for something I wasn't using as I changed gym, or cancel my direct debit. Now I'm being chased for payments. It's such a shame it takes that to hear from them, not that they've acknowledged the cancellation yet

False advertising for a start. Pay nothing until February is a lie; what it actually means is that don’t have a joining fee. You still have to pay for a month’s membership straight up. Neither did they disclose that for your first visit, you will need to speak to a member of staff and receive a fob. This is only available 9:00-9:00 Monday through Friday despite signing up on a Saturday. So I now have to wait until Monday until I can even access the centre. This was only mentioned in their initial email which went into my spam. Nothing on their website discloses this procedure and I was only informed once I had started the contract with them. Incredibly poor service from the off.

The staff are very welcoming and cheerful and willing to support you no matter what.

The gym is Lincoln, I started 3 weeks ago, the face to face attention and the chat were great, they clarified my doubts and helped me choose a good plan.

I have a PT and he’s pushed me to my limits in a good way. He’s improved my overall fitness without any judgment. I still have a long way to go but I feel more confident each time I attend the gym. All staff are very friendly and helpful.

Very nice atmosphere, just sometimes very busy

Lovely local gym with just the right equipment.

The reason my my drop in stars is -
Toilets/showers could do with a revamp. They are not nice and they STINK and the lighting is horrendous. They are clean and always topped up with loo roll but wowsers they honk.

There is lots of broken equipment: straps are missing from pedals on multiple bikes, a rowing machine doesn't work and nor does one of the treadmills. The plumbing in the male changing room seems to have issues: it smells bad whenever I visit. It looks out of date and needs a bit of an upgrade.

Numerous machines broken , toilets stank of sewage , no staff on duty , people wanting to join but no one around. 90% of lockers don’t work.

Very nice staff. All the equipment I require and staff ready to assist.

We are a couple in our 70s and I rang Energię Fitness in Lincoln to see if they could help us get in better shape.The manager Chris could not have been more helpful.We went into the gym and he explained all about the equipment and how it worked.We decided to go twice a week and he showed ud the equipment he wanted us to use and how it worked.
He has worked out a program for us to follow which is very useful and we record the weight and how many reps we do on each piece of equipment a different set for each day we go.
At first we were a bit apprehensive about going to the gym at our age but Chris was so friendly professional and reassuring.It is early days yet but we are definitely pleased we joined the energię gym.Thanks Chris

Little bit tired looking

While the gym is functional, the equipment works and it has everything you need for a workout, it is a little on the tired side. The changing rooms are ok but the lighting isn't good, paint and fittings are coming away from the wall, the lockers are old and in general its tatty. The machines could do with a more regular clean. Some of the flooring has been worn away. Some of the lights don't work or are failing in the main gym space.
There could be a better selection of smaller weights in the main weights rack. If you want anything lower than a 9kg you have to walk to the studio. Just needs a bit of TLC again to bring it up to its former glory.
