Hey, I'm Lizzie, the founder of Balance by Lizzie, and I coach women over 30 who are sick of being told to eat less and do more cardio. I'm a female-only coach and I walk alongside my clients, never above them. My job is to teach you, not hand you a meal plan you'll outgrow in three weeks. Nothing is off limits with me. No food groups get cut, no 1200 calorie diets, no quick fixes that fall apart the second real life happens. What we focus on is the stuff women have been missing for decades. The structure I got for my workouts in the gym was brilliant and Lizzie gave me gentle encouragement to up the weights where I would maybe have plateaued. She gets the female body, the cycle and that I’m not 21 anymore !!

I wanted to lose a few pounds for my sons wedding in August 2025, so a friend suggested joining Lizzie for a few months, which I did. Lizzie's is a bundle of fun and bounce, and her approach and knowledge is amazing. She was great for re-educating me to stop just thinking about calorie content and start thinking about protein content alongside keeping a generous calorie count to sustain feeling full. Consistency is the key!! Once I got my brain around that, coupled with my regular fitness classes, gym sessions and upping the steps, the pounds steadily came off. Lizzie helped me reach my goal within 4months for our son's Big Day!

I can’t recommend Lizzie enough. Overall, I’ve lost 20lbs — 14lbs while working with Lizzie and a further 7lbs on my own using the tools and habits she taught me.
I wasn’t necessarily overweight to begin with (around a size 10/12), but I wanted to feel more toned, healthier and more confident in myself. For the first time in my life, I’m now at my goal weight and fitting comfortably into size 8 jeans. My measurements changed massively too — my waist went from 34.5” to 28”, hips from 40.5” to 35”, and chest from 38.5” to 33”.
What made the biggest difference was that Lizzie created a plan that actually felt realistic and sustainable. As a single mum to two young children, I needed something that could fit around real life, and somehow managed to progress over Christmas!
Lizzie was approachable, supportive, thoughtful and always on hand whenever I needed encouragement or guidance. She kept me accountable without ever making me feel judged, and genuinely cared about me as a person, not just the number on the scales. She’s such a special person and an amazing coach.

Amazing coach that coached all the results and skills from me
Lizzie was a fantastic coach for me and was the one that really made it make sense. I worked with Lizzie for 9 months and I lost 11kg, gained a load of muscle and stayed at a steady weight before Lizzie's coaching finished. The main skills I took away was an awareness of how to fuel my body, how much I could actually eat of the right thing and lose weight. Having that weekly accountability and support from Lizzie during the process was what made the difference. Oh and she is genuinely lovely too! If you are thinking about it... don't think.. go for it!

Fantastic coach
Lizzie has been an incredible coach. She’s so down to earth and approaches coaching with the understanding that life sometimes gets in the way,and that’s completely okay. Rather than expecting perfection, she gives you realistic tools to adapt and stay on track alongside normal day-to-day life.
What really stood out to me was how personal her coaching felt. She takes the time to understand you as an individual and recognises that you can’t always meal prep perfectly or stick to a strict routine. Instead, she’s taught me valuable skills to plan around weekends out, navigate challenges, and avoid the “sod it” mindset that used to throw my whole week off track.
Her coaching in the gym has also been amazing. I’ve learned not only how to lift weights properly, but also why it matters and the science behind it, which has made me feel so much more confident and motivated.

I wish I had signed up sooner
I enquired with lizzie around 7 months ago when I felt miserable in my skin and nothing seemed to be working when trying to lose weight. I had no experience with going to the gym and needed to be able to workout from home but with the guidance I was doing the right thing. Lizzie helped build me a manageable workout plan that I could fit around work and my little boy. Lizzie also helped me review my diet and make sustainable changes which meant I could still eat what I wanted and have flexibility but helping to achieve my goals.
Lizzie does a weekly review with me where we go through how the week has been as well as diet and workouts and will advise where tweaks can be made to help achieve my goals! The check in’s are so easy to do and always so positive and really informative with how your body can respond to different things like sleep and stress which can then effect the number on the scale! I’m so glad that I joined with Lizzie - she has made me feel so much better about myself in such a short space of time and made me understand my body so much more!
