The gym is great, good atmosphere with helpful staff and members.

Excellent gym clean and hygienic high quality equipment and a very good variety of equipment. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the other members are friendly and kindhearted same goes for the staff members such tommie and Harry. Tommie is always active with the community such as doing classes walking around the gym floor checking in on members and making them feel welcomed always making sure the gym is tidy at the end of his shift. Harry is always giving new members tours of the gym helping understand where everything is and in his free time scheduling training sessions with members same as Tommie .Both of them are excellent members of staff and I would 100 percent recommend to friends and family

The lockers upstairs are permanently locked with members padlocks for days that shouldn't be. Never able to use any of those lockers. The new access system with Kisi app is proven to be great inconvenience for me that I dont have an iPhone. Can you please return to the old access system with the fob key or at least give us the alternative option to use the keys instead of the Kisi app? One of the treadmills does not work, they are not many in first place. Rowing machines upstairs need lubrication and better maintenance. Also there is never enough staff and the whole gym area it is not very clean. Needs deep cleaning at least once a week. Toilets dirty and machines sticky. Hope these issues will be resolved otherwise I have no option than cancelling my membership. Kind regards.

Equipment very good and always very clean

I spent 9 months at Energy Eltham, I’m in the process of a house move which means unfortunately I am having to leave. The team in the gym, and via phone call and email have been been so prompt and friendly. The gym is great, but the people I’ll miss most. I’ve left some Chocolates in the office for the team to share - thanks for all your help❤️

Where do I start. This gym is nothing but class, staff friendly, equipment is state of the art, prime location and it’s also filled with friendly public. I would recommend it highly. It’s definitely becoming my everyday gym.

Energie Fitness Eltham, I am very disappointed, been trying to cancel membership, sent numerous emails, forms, nobody replied, even though they reply to any other enquiries without a problem, somehow when it comes to cancelling membership I was told they have 'backlog'. I DO NOT CARE if you have a backlog or not, I requested my membership to be cancelled I won't wait longer and I won't pay one month more as I was told by member of staff, I gave you 30 days notice and my membership must be cancelled, I will request a charge back from my bank if you take my Money From Feb onwards. UNAACEPTABLE!

Friendly, welcoming staff who always support and help us have a great work out. They have a great selection of machines and equipment as well as great classes and sessions that we can all enjoy

I paid for 8 months and yet I continue to be harassed for “additional payments.” Honestly, it feels easier to get a divorce than to close a contract here.
What is almost amusing—if it were not so serious—is the complete lack of clarity regarding the amounts being demanded. On top of that, my personal data has been passed on to dubious debt collection companies that do not stop sending texts and emails with sums that have no connection whatsoever to the contract I signed.
Yes, they took my money for 8 months and still believe they can intimidate me. I am waiting to see them in court: I have bank statements proving the payments made; they will have to prove my attendance and the existence of any genuine debt.
It is not normal to struggle for 8 months just to cancel a contract.Actually, I want all my money back — it is not fair to pay for a service you do not receive.
And let us not forget one essential detail: there is a clear legal precedent. Under the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 and the OFT v. Ashbourne Management Services Ltd (2011) ruling, continuing to take payments after a cancellation is unlawful. This case established that unclear gym contracts or those that prevent cancellation are illegal.

I joined for 6 months and supplied my bank details for dd! They emailed me on holiday saying there was an issue with the dd could I make a payment by link so I did! I then emailed them to confirm my bank details! They never acknowledged the email, took my money either so I gave up! Never went back to the gym! So then 3 months later getting emails from a debt collector? Why not act like a proper business and call me to discuss, or ask me for new bank details nothing! I’ll pay off the £68 they are chasing to get away from these cowboys! The biggest joke is the gym is absolutely stinking the showers, changing rooms are just disgusting! Shame they don’t take as much care in the gym than chasing people for money due to them being so useless! Some of the lads who go to the gym are great that’s the only positive!
Avoid!

Signed up for a year up front and the showers are covered in mould and grime. Had to complain a couple of times before even getting a response. Asked to cancel on the basis that the cleanliness of the showers is well below the standard you should expect of the facilities and have been told that they deem it acceptable so won't be refunding any of my money.

The Eltham gym has a lot of equipment, some of the cardio equipment in particular looks like it's fairly new. The staff that I've met have been really friendly. In terms of the workouts, other than some of the machines being a bit squeaky, I don't have any major concerns.

The changing rooms and showers on the other hand are at a very low standard. Some lockers are missing locks and the have vinyl peeling off. The showers look like they haven't been maintained in a very long time. Black grouting which was once white, limescale and dirt on the doors and the shower heads, paint peeling off the ceiling and the strip light in the middle isn't enough to fill the shower spaces. Difficult to feel comfortable or clean in these facilities.

Awfull gym. Always packed, no aircon. Although requested cancelation over email, 6 months later they still trying to charge me. AVOID.!!!

Awful, awful place. I was a member of the Eltham branch and whilst intially it was ok massively gone done hill. total shambles.
monthly fee was cheap - but that's because when you try to leave they charge you an admin fee. Never heard of an admin fee to cancel a contract.

Great equipment, has everything that anyone would need from beginner to expert level. Very friendly staff especially Harry

I’ve been using the gym for nearly three years now. I find the staff helpful friendly approachable and accommodating. I have never a bad experience there. All members who use the gym are also friendly which makes it a happy training environment. . Lots of equipment to use and very clean and definitely value for money. Keep it up Energie.

Very disappointing experience! This gym charged me £50 for just six days, much more than they initially stated. Later, they claimed it was in their terms and conditions. Feels like a scam—wouldn’t recommend joining!

The website states fromm £9.99 yet when you go to sign up it goes to £19.99. Not very truthful

Love it there! Regularly do the classes and they are great! The guys that work there are super helpful and friendly. Good value for money, definitely recommend it if you are looking to get fit.
