I really like using DIVI
I really like using DIVI. It's easy, straightforward and the customer service is very nice. When you have a question, you can send your question and come back to it later and keep continuing with the same chat. I like that, as sometimes you don't have the time to wait all day.
I also love that I can use DIVI for unlimited times on unlimited websites and that I don't have to pay more per website, like Elementor. Now that I also discoverd how 'hover' is working, I don't need Elementor anymore.

Divi incompatible with Yoast
Seriously, I bought a lifetime license almost a decade ago. It is true. Divi is amazing. But if you cannot accommodate the biggest SEO platform (Yoast), I guess you really got here through marketing more than other ways. And the team made it clear that it is not priority. They recommend I use Rank Math. No way guys, neither is Rank Math 100% compatible with you platform. And surely, I can only guess, they will not reinburse me. We all know, if a website is not SEO optimized, it is sub standard. And Elegant themes told me in so many words that this is not a priority to them.
I trusted them with a lifetime liscence and they dont prioritize SEO with Yoast? Think about it.
Oh, and Elegant Themes. IF you consider replying, dear lord, please don't start with "I'm sorry." I HATE it. If you're sorry, fix it or not. But IF you're sorry, it places you in the position to take responsibility. Anything other than that is just LIP-SERVICE, INAUTHENTIC AND A LIE.

Not all SEO plugins are fully compatible with Divi 5 yet, but will be soon! Our developers are actively collaborating with plugin authors to resolve this quickly.
We are committed to offering third-party developers all the tools they need to ensure that their products will be fully functional with the new Divi 5 platform and that the transition between the current Divi 4 code base and the new Divi 5 code base will be as smooth as possible as we transition to Divi 5.

However, please be assured that issues are addressed as promptly as possible, based on our development team's current workload and the priority of the issue relative to other open matters. The product is incredible!
The product is incredible. Customer service is great! When you need a helping hand, they deliver. I needed help getting an image to display correctly, and Jemelie quickly diagnosed my problem. Divi by Elegant Themes is a great WordPress theme, and Elegant Themes is a great company focused on the user experience.

I have been using Elegant Themes on a few WordPress projects. The biggest strength is definitely the design output. With some time and adjustment you can create very high quality websites and the layout packs are still quite useful.
However, the builder experience feels a bit old compared to modern page builders. The interface and workflow have not changed much over the years, so simple edits sometimes take longer than expected. It works reliably, but the usability could be more streamlined.

The support I received tonight from Faisal was beyond good. It was great. He not only told me what was wrong, but why, and sent me a video with audio commentary to explain it to me. Divi 5 has quite a learning curve (and I've been programming for decades, but this is a very different approach to the code-based writing I've done over the years). Anyway, he was calm and concise and top-notch.
