It Seems Like The Other Reviews About Appalling Customer Support Are Accurate!

Having researched the options I have spent a significant amount of money on Efergy products to monitor my electricity consumption (my energy supplier do not provide a smart meter for Economy X supplies).
I have two separate hubs (with displays) and 10 current clamps to monitor all critical circuits.
The first problem occurred when I received the goods, as they were shipped from Spain. After a short while I received a FedEx bill for VAT, although the website clearly states the published price included shipping and VAT. I contacted Efergy through their website and indeed they did get back in touch and actually paid the FedEx bills for both shipments. All good so far.
Set up the systems and although I had to create two separate accounts for each system on the server, all worked well for about 6 months, then one hub stopped communicating with the server. I know something about IT communications so carried out a basic set of checks and it all points to the Hub failing, so I contacted Efergy's customer service. I received their usual (very polite and) automated email response with a support ticket number. Great I thought they are on the case and I will be up and running again soon.
Since then absolutely nothing. Sent two more emails still no reply. Not even the automated one??
Are they still trading, are they having serious problems like this with all of their products? do they care about customers? I cannot answer any of these questions. What I can tell you is that it is very frustrating getting absolutely nowhere with this company - hence this warning to others

Solar power monitor and company totally unreliable

Solar panel energy monitor worked fine for 2 months. Then it stopped and returned nil response.

I emailed Efergy and got a standard email response within a few hours. Then nothing. Repeated emails were ignored.

Don't waste your money on this company. They are a rip off.

Efergy Hub useless for solar

I have the Engage Hub with 3 CT sensors. The aim was to monitor my grid supply, Air Source Heat Pump, and Solar generation. The CT clamps overread and are inaccurate but worst of all, as they are not directional, when I'm exporting to the grid, the Hub shows it as Grid usage. Support are useless, they rarely reply and when they do they are not interested in resolving any issues.

E-Max data download useless.

Have emailed customer support several times to resolve the downloaded data being useless from the E-Max. The daily report has nulls in the data and will not load into a spreadsheet.

Absolutely no response.

Very disappointing results from Efergy.

Very disappointing results from Efergy.
I contacted Efergy via their form/email
and initially got a response from a
person named Luke. He asked me for details on my device's issue and I
gave him complete details on what was going on. Despite this, I never
heard from him again! Pathetic
customer support. I've since sent 2
other messages to Efergy requesting
help on the issue. NO RESPONSE.
I would not recommend Efergy products to anyone.

When it works is great

When it works is great, but when it stops working don't count on support. No reply from customer support, neither through the website, nor by email.
I will not buy it anymore

Efergy E max

I purchased the EMax but have had problems with setup and also accuracy, i have e mailed them left comments on Facebook and used the support site but had no replies, now at point of returning as product does not work(this may be user error) but without support i have an expensive illuminated paper weight
Update: after raising an issue with paypal Efergy contacted me and told me it was my fault for setting the unit up wrong( i input the wrong voltage) how they know this is beyond me and is untrue, i am an electrician and checked my supply voltage before installing the unit and set the voltage to the correct value. they also claim to have called me 2 times but i did not answer (no missed calls or messages on my phone) Avoid like the plague or covid 19.

Good product, totally unreliable.

Product is good - when it works. The downfall is Efergy servers, despite 100% internet connectivity at my end, data is not consistently logged real time. I can't see rea ltime usage for hours at a time, then it backfills historical data hours later (most times, but not always). I've sent dozens emails with lots of details to get problems fixed, only get half baked replies suggesting it is my setup or power failures. My recommendation is not to commit to this company, they do not provide any commitment to you.

Totally useless

Totally useless. Efergy Pro kit would not connect to Wi-Fi. Support just send video tutorials and do not respond to the issues. No telephone support only email. Response is next day so commercial troubleshooting is not practical. My recommendation is to stay away from this company and their products.

Support non-existent when they cant resolve it.

As many have said their support initially seemed ok though when they could not get my device working they never respond. Device now ready for garbage.
A real shame as it was good whilst it lasted but like so many of these companies with cloud based products they lose interest in old customers and effectively shut them off.
Recommendation: Stay well away.

Poor support and operation

As covered many times by others the system will have issues and the support is poor or non existent thanks to only an email option to communicate.
Initial set up was not clear but once this was overcome the system regularly drops out and requires batteries constantly removing and reinstalling.

App format is very good but lack of consistency in operation and any meaningful data over a period of time makes this system a waste of money.

I have both the Efergy Engage Hub and…

I have both the Efergy Engage Hub and the Efergy Classic display operating simultaneously across three house phases and two solar systems to show solar inverter production and combined 3 phase house power consumption. It works very well and few competing devices can operate this many separate circuits. Poor reviews are often the consequence of not understanding how these systems work. The Efergy system is made for installation without need for an electrician - there is no electrical connection to mains wiring. This means Efergy can not sense voltage, only current via the CT clamps. If the mains voltage changes throughout the day compared to the single set voltage entered into the Engage/Classic software, then the Watt readings will be slightly inaccurate ~ +/- 5%. The biggie is that it can not measure a thing called "power factor". Poor power factor, caused by leading or lagging current wave forms from consumer equipment, can cause up to ~ 20% error. Good consumer equipment will have a Power Factor of around 0.95 to 1, but poor, cheap or badly designed equipment can have a power factor of 0.8. Google "Power Factor" to understand. The only way to get around this is to have an electrician installed system that can measure both voltage and current - and substantially increase the price of the monitoring system installation as a consequence, or use "wall wart" type measurement devices that can read both voltage and current. Yes, the HUB unit does require an occasional reboot to maintain an internet connection after my main internet modem drops out. I have flaky internet so I run a simple $10 timer switch on the Efergy hub plug pack that power cycles it for a few seconds every 24 hours. I also have to do the same thing for my internet connected watering systems, so this is not a unique issue with the Efergy Hub. It shouldn't need rebooting so it loses a star, but other wise, the Efergy Hub and Classic are great systems and work well once you understand the limitations. I recommend these products.

Contacted this company the Europe…

Contacted this company the Europe office in Barcelona. Initially very good, helped me define a system, although steered me away from products because they were not in stock. Had a few problems with getting my bank to transfer money to them, however in the meantime I took other advice and was advised that the system they had suggested was not going to do what I had requested. I emailed them with my thoughts and the advice I was given, to date no reply! Replied after I said I had been dissapointed from not hearing from them. Told they only do orders in the morning and answer queries in the afternoon, that was six days ago! Very poor customer service, glad now that I did not order anything from them. Been advised by other suppliers that kit is not really fit for purpose.
Keep clear.

Bad bad bad do not waste your money

Still no acceptance from these people that their monitors do not accurately measure consumption - can sometimes show easily more than double your actual that the rubbish system shows. Really really poor, and absolutely no interest from their practically non-existent so called support. Plenty of other systems on the market so my advice is definitely do not buy this absolute rubbish
