Professional job done, polite and punctual worker thank you

Very tidy and effective when dealing with my blocked bath drain.

We had a blocked domestic foul drain. Whilst an engineer attempted promptly, a brief attempt (10 sec) was made to dislodge the blockage with one rod. Claim was that ‘the blockage’ was pushing back against the rod. Options were then presented as a) jetting or b) tanker to drain the foul liquid as the jetting took place. The jetting option was described as being a potential health and safety hazard if when jetting it all spilled out of the manhole in the garden / neighbours garden. The tanker option was quickly moved to as the most suitable option however it was expensive. The charge was £350 per hour with a minimum 2 hour call out charge. So minimum of £700 + VAT. Feeling we had no other option we reluctantly confirmed the tanker option. The tanker arrived 2 days later (after the weekend) and as soon as I saw the size of it I knew this was overkill. It was big enough to clear blocked drains for the whole street! This was a large commercial grade tanker and way over the top for a local domestic private drain. The drain with jetting cleared within 10 seconds. I appreciate the engineers cannot know how long this process may take but subsequent to their initial visit I don’t believe enough steps were taken before suggesting the tanker as the most suitable option. After dynorod left, I had a drainage specialist inspect the drains and they were gobsmacked by Dynorrods suggestion of a tanker and only using one rod to try and clear. They insisted they would have used different sized rods as they believed having inspected that the rod used by dynorod caught on a pipe lining rather than just being pushed back from foul waste / blockage. We ran a camera down the drain and this showed that at the length where the engineer thought it was blocked (being pushed back on the rod) there was a joint displacement (lip) that could have caught the rod used. There was a misrepresentation re jetting too as if it started to back up you could just turn the jet off, let it settle and continue with this process until cleared. This was not mentioned by Dynorod at all. Given the situation we felt pressured into the £840 tanker option which was entirely unnecessary and given the circumstances felt we had no other option to clear our drain. I feel completely misled by the engineer who should have tried other rods / jetting to clear the blockage before suggesting the tanker as a suitable option.

Came on a Wednesday said they could do the job because the sink waste wasn't connected & wasn't insured to connect it. But the guy said to my girlfriend he would do it for £100 on the side.
Said they would come back on the Thursday to fix the blocked sink after I connected the sink waste (a 10 minute job.) But got told at 15:30 in the afternoon they couldn't make it.

Very nice people on phone and very quick to arrive. Very reasonable fee too, considering what the competition wanted. Very efficient and professional when they arrived. Recommended.

Outstanding service. Called this morning and had the man out by 3pm. Very polite and considerate of my home and very quickly realised the issue and sorted it immediately. Left my bathroom clean and tidy.

From the very start of requesting an appointment to the engineer attending the whole process has been simple, easy to understand and stress free! I initially made an enquiry due to a blocked drain, the engineer attended within 24 hours from my initial enquiry. I felt under no pressure at all throughout. Alex attended my property and subsequently identified a collapsed drain. He managed to clear the blockage and advise on steps going forward. He remained friendly, professional and knowledgable throughout. He was happy to inform me what the issue was and even reconfirm when I hadn’t quite remembered what he said. Alex is a credit to the company and I will 100% recommend Dyno to anyone!!

Issue was fixed but service was appalling. Will use competitors next time.

Alex attended site within the booked date/time range, was attentive to the information provided about the issue and swiftly began work to resolve. The problem was fixed swiftly and Alex was very attentive to questions/shared best practice advice. The price was reasonable and I'd have no hesitation in calling Dyno-Rod again.

Dynorod to the rescue. When our manhole was overflowing with sewage Dynorod came out within 2 hours to fix the issue. The guys that came were super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and carried out a great job. We thought the fee for the service to be very competitive considering it was booked as an emergency case.
Have used them again since to carry out descaling of waste pipes and CCTV examination of pipes

To be clear, the person who came was great, polite and helpful.

However, I had made an appointment (through the central call centre I understand) where I had clearly mentioned that I felt I had a limescale buildups and my bath/shower was draining slowly. Dyno had come and cleared the same for me 4 years ago. However, on arrival I was told what I had booked was just a general drain unblock and that a descale was something very different that cost a lot more and would need to be booked for another day. I still had to pay £50 for the pleasure of an "investigation".

I was very pleased that I could speak with one of your staff directly. I was enquiring and subsequently booking your services on behalf of an elderly friend. I felt I was listened to and my concerns were taken seriously and the staff went out of there way to accommodate my request. The plumber attended within an agreed time frame (very helpful) and swiftly sorted the problem out.
