needed something small + cheap for a week in queens. got a chevy spark. perfect lolparking in manhattan was way easier than i thought. gas cost basically nothing. pickup was quick. guys at the counter were chill.lowkey felt like my tiny office on wheels for the week. ran everywhere. no issues after return.would def rent again.

I was in New York for a series of meetings and rented the Mercedes-Benz S580 4Matic. After frequent international flights, comfort and reliability are not luxuries - they are requirements. The vehicle met that standard.The cabin was exceptionally quiet, the ride smooth, and the seating genuinely comfortable for extended drives between Manhattan and New Jersey. It presents well without being ostentatious, which is important in business settings.Check-in was efficient and professional. The representative reviewed the agreement clearly, answered questions directly, and there were no surprises in pricing. The vehicle was prepared and ready at the agreed time.Return was equally straightforward. Billing matched the original quote and the deposit release was processed without issue.A refined, well-managed experience. I will use this service again for future visits.

Drivo Dumbo is a surprisingly good rental car agency. The agents are super friendly and actually very helpful. I find them to be very honest every time I rent a car and overall it’s just in a great location with a pleasant group of people.

I have filed complaints with the BBB and NY Attorney General.
I experienced excessive delays (2½-hour shuttle wait and 45–60 minutes at the facility). Three days into the rental, the vehicle had a flat tire. I was told I was responsible for roadside assistance and paid $96, only to discover the vehicle had no spare tire. I then paid $15 to repair the tire. I also received a parking ticket because the car could not be moved. I am requesting reimbursement and compensation due to unsafe vehicle conditions and lack of support.

Resolution Requested:

Reimbursement of $111, coverage of parking ticket, and compensation for delays and poor service.
This rental vehicle was unsafe due to the absence of a spare tire.

Traveling with two kids, two carry-ons, backpacks, snacks, chargers, random toys - you name it. We rented a Hyundai Tucson and it honestly made the whole trip less stressful. There was enough room for everything without playing Tetris in the trunk.The car was clean, no weird smells, seats were comfortable and easy to adjust. Getting the kids in and out was simple, which matters when you’re doing it multiple times a day. It drove smoothly and felt safe on the highway.At the counter they explained coverage options clearly. No pressure, just information. Pick-up took about 15 minutes once we arrived. Drop-off was quick too and the shuttle back to the airport came fast.When you’re traveling as a mom you just want things predictable and safe. This was exactly that. I’d rent again for a family trip.

Felt unreal seeing the skyline in the rearview mirror.Shuttle wait wasn’t bad, paperwork was easy, car was clean. No weird charges after return.Renting the car honestly made the trip better. 100% worth it.

My Family arrived to New York through LaGuardia and we decided to rent a minivan since we had kids and quite a bit of luggage. Pickup took maybe 10-15 minutes once we got there. The car had plenty of room and was perfect for driving around NYC and doing a short day trip outside the city. Return process was easy too. Traveling with family is stressful enough so I appreciated that part.

I had a very poor experience renting a car from Drivo in Rabat.
At collection, I had an issue with my credit card because I had forgotten the PIN, so I had no practical option other than to use my debit card. I was then charged an additional £10 per day for using a debit card, despite having little real choice at that point.
What made this worse is that this debit card charge was not clearly stated in the terms and conditions provided to me, which I find unfair and misleading.
The condition of the vehicle was also unacceptable. The car was handed over with the engine management light already on, a service spanner warning, and a dashboard message saying “check emissions”. On top of that, the air conditioning was not working.
When I returned the vehicle, I was told that my deposit would be refunded within 48 hours. It has now been over two weeks, and I have still not received my deposit, nor have I received any response to my email.
This experience was stressful, unprofessional, and far below the standard I would expect from a car rental company.
For clarity, this review is about Drivo in Rabat only. Please do not confuse them with Drivos, who I have rented from before and found to be professional and reliable. I have also rented from other agencies in Rabat and Marrakesh without any issues.
I would not recommend Drivo based on my experience.

We rented a SUV after landing at LaGuardia because we planned to explore outside the city for a couple days. Booking online was easy and the price was better than some other companies we checked. The vehicle was clean and comfortable for a road trip. Everything worked well during our stay.

They are scammers. They will prevent you from taking photos of the rental and then claim that you caused scratches when you return the car. They will also put in claims for thousands of dollars on what is literally just dust on the bumper. Even when insurance pays, they will try to go after you personally for more money. They are the only car rental company I have ever used that runs credit checks on its customers and they do it with the intention of scamming people who have good credit because they think it will be easier to extract money. Also, they offer discounts to first time customers in exchange for a good review BEFORE you rent the car so do not trust their 5-star ratings.

Rented a Cadillac Escalade ESV for business meetings across NY, NJ and CT. I needed something presentable but not flashy. This was exactly that. Comfortable for longer drives, quiet, clean interior, no rental-car vibe.
The process was organized. Pricing was transparent. No last minute add-ons. I appreciate when things just work the way they're supposed to.

They took 200 off of my deposit for a supposed nail in the tire. First of all I’m sure there wasn’t any because I checked myself and parked in their own garage to return it. Secondly other reviews also report this fraud as they lost 200 for low tire pressure…
