Shocking refund policy. I purchased a headboard on Thursday 13th October to be delivered in November. I had excellent service from Austin in the Clifton Moor York. Unfortunately I need to cancel the order I have gone overdrawn & will be charged every day I’m overdrawn. I rang store Friday to cancel the order. Dave the manager told me I would have to ring customer services. Rang this number twice but was in a queue as I was on my break at work so I could not get to speak to someone. Tried on line couldn’t submit. They don’t have a cancellation choice on system. Rang C/S Saturday morning spoke to Charlie who was very unhelpful. Said he could send a request to cancel which would be looked at in 48hrs, but he could not do the refund. It has to be processed then the store can do it once the request has been authorised. After numerous requests to speak to a manager he said he could put us through & didn’t have a contact number to give us. He was polite but just kept saying the same thing. I then asked him to add a message so they would process it ASAP so for me not to accrue charges. He said he would put urgent on the request. I then rang the store & spoke to Dave again. He said the store do not do refunds at all on their system. I need to speak to customer services.So the up shot is no one I can speak to in the Dreams company is able to do me the refund. In this financial climate I can’t be the one person to over spend & need a refund quickly. Why isn’t there a 5/7day cooling off period when the item is being delivered a lot after the 5days I will definitely never buy anything from Dreams again.

Excellent customer service that makes you feel valued. Helped to decide on a good quality bed that I feel is perfect for me.

The members of staff at Clifton moor are very helpful so polite and are so welcoming.

Ordered a Storage/Blanket Box in store from the York Branch. Really helpful staff. Arrived a few days later. Could not fault the service. Product is lovely, well made and looks great in our bedroom!

Austin (York Clifton Moore) was great. Good experience overall.

Suffering from Osteoarthritis in my hips for over 7 years and having had it only recently diagnosed it was so important for me to improve the comfort of my painful night's sleep. It was necessary to test out a Dreams bed, in store, so as not to make any mistakes. Both my wife, who suffers from hereditary Rheumatoid Arthritis, and I could instantly feel the comfort from the samples being offered and soon we were ready to make our choice. The rest is history. (Oh, and hopefully, I am getting my first hip replaced in October, my right one) There have been so many advancements in the last decade in the science behind mattress designs and the choice of which to buy is yours, we bought a Dreams and, so far, we haven't looked back.

Plenty of choice within the store

I visited Dreams at Clifton Moor York and was greeted by a friendly salesman, Austin, who was very friendly, knowledgable and professional but not at all pushy. They had a very good selection of beds, in store, to choose from. We were offered drinks and told to take as much time as we liked. A very positive experience.

Kirsten was really helpful at the Clifton moor york store! She helped us choose the best mattress for us by going on the sleep machine and allowing us time to lay on them! I would highly recommend a visit in store

A new mattress, a need for a replacement was becoming more obvious, the old one was no longer flat, it had dips either side which encouraged rolling from one position to another. Definitely not conducive to a good night's sleep

the colleagues instore especially Kristen were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble for them she made sure everything we wanted was catered for and she couldn't of been nicer, the value of the product was second to none and we would come back in a heartbeat

Went into store. Was shown computerised method of choosing right personalised mattress for me. Mattress chosen. Delivered on the date and early for the time given. No hassle whatsoever. Took old mattress away. Having a much better sleep. Best mattress I’ve ever had. All staff friendly, respectful and helpful. Will be using again in future.

The whole process from choosing a mattress to it being delivered was easy and very effective. The sleep testing machine in the store is super cool and the staff were really helpful about taking us on the journey of which ones to try next. The delivery (and disposal collection) service was excellent too.
