Double Clean charges $50 per hour for EACH cleaner they send out. They have no special qualifications and are definitely not fast. For context, a Licensed Practical Nurse makes about $36 per hour, a social worker makes about $43 per hour and an X-ray technician makes about $47 per hour. I was told that Double Clean's lightening speed more than made up for their high hourly rate. Absolutely not true. My old cleaner charged $25 per hour, and she was MUCH faster than these people. I regret hiring Double Clean.

I recently hired Double Clean for a deep cleaning service (move out), and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, their team was professional, punctual, and detail-oriented. They arrived on time, fully equipped, and got straight to work.

**Disappointing Experience with Unprofessional Service**

I want to caution anyone considering this company—be very careful and don’t be misled by the five-star reviews. They may be strategically placed to lure you in, as I found out the hard way when I booked their services.

I requested a combination of three hours of kitchen, bathroom, and small space cleaning, along with full-home carpet steam cleaning. However, the crew that arrived to handle the cleaning before the carpet team were completely unaware of the instructions I had provided during my initial booking. To my surprise, they attempted to vacuum the carpets, which was already assigned and paid for separately to another team from the same company. This led to a wasted 15 minutes where they had to call multiple supervisors to figure out what to do.

I eventually had to contact the person I booked with to clarify the tasks and get the crew back on track. Although the person I spoke with was polite and accommodating, the cleaning crew’s performance was disappointing. They appeared disinterested, often holding a phone with one hand while speaking to someone during most of the cleaning time. One of the cleaners even stepped out to take personal calls by the company car! They then tried to ask for additional hours to compensate for their lack of productivity, which I refused. My family and I ended up finishing the job ourselves, and we had to hire additional help at extra cost.

The carpet cleaner was slightly better and more focused, but still left stains behind, especially near the baseboards, which we had to re-clean ourselves. The landlord’s representative refused to accept the cleaning, forcing us to call in another service to complete the job.

The most shocking part was the company's reaction when I raised my concerns. Instead of addressing the issues, they demanded photo evidence of the crew’s carelessness and the stains left behind, which I found incredibly unusual. I shared the landlord’s representative’s contact information, as I believe they had taken photos of the stains. However, the company still sent threatening SMS messages about sending the bill to collections if not paid promptly and in full!

Moving homes is stressful enough, and you rely on a good cleaning company to ease that burden. Unfortunately, this company only made things more difficult. I would strongly advise against using their servises.

I hate everything about moving and now as an adult I'm adult enough to afford to pay other people to do some of the "heavy lifting". If you hate move out cleans these guys are perfect. Give them your cleaning checklist, they'll give you a quote, they'll do all the work. Perfect!
