My first tutor was non communicative and hard to deal with so I requested a change and from there everything worked much better.
I am not a fan of distance learning and would much rather be in a classroom with actual interaction with tutors and peers.
The content is good but the learning methods are not easy to get to grips with and some of the research material did not load or was not available due to licensing issues. all in all, not the best experience but I guess it could have been worse.

The tutors are really helpful and supportive and the website is really easy to navigate!

I have had a very positive experience of the course so far and my tutor, has been an incredible help to me throughout the first few months. Nothing was too much trouble, she has been continuously encouraging, professional and kind. Thank you for everything.

I have completed my Access to Higher Education for social sciences. One of my tutors was brilliant and the other one was alright. It took 11 months to complete while working full time and took a lot of determination. My suggestions are to join the facebook group for help as well as to watch the webinars and podcast for each assignment. I acheived 39 distinctions and 6 merits and got into one of my dream uni's as well as got into assessments centres for apprenticeships.

I was so impressed and pleasantly surprised with how simple the enrolment process was. They are very welcoming and provided very quick responses to the queries I had. My Tutor is great, and the dashboard has everything you need to navigate your way around your studies. I highly recommend choosing distance learning centre.

I'm currently studying a HE access course and going to uni in September to study nursing.
I found studying psychology amazing, my tutor responded promptly to any emails, was very patient and kind, always gave advice and help when needed & there's options for tutorials too where you can speak via phone. The knowledge I have now in the subject I will take with me on my journey in nursing 😊

The distancelearningcentre is an independent learning experience. For me it was great as I was able to work at my own pace between work and am on track to going to uni in September. The tutors are clear and helpful and easy to reach.

Really great and supportive tutors that are always happy to help

The course overall if really helpfull but the dlc platform could use some improvements. Although it is quite organised for new people like me it is really confusing and I personally really struggle to work with the platform. I think it should be more simplified. Cuz when u open a section of the dlc the first thing I see it alot of words and I have to scroll through the whole page to find the assessment or the saq I need. It only needs some simplification so thay inexperienced students like us won't have to spend alot of time trying to fi d their way in the platform.

The tutors respond quickly and there is plenty of helpful information when needed

So far I have really enjoyed my course and I have learnt alot. My biology tutor was very patient and helpful.

It is an excellent option for adults who do not follow the pattern way. Serious company, reliable, organised, great tutors. I'm doing Access to HE after many years since I left College, and I don't have any complaints.

I have had an amazing start to my course, I have found the material very helpful and I feel I have already learned so much in such a short amount of time (2 months). My tutor has been very helpful, giving in-depth information to all my questions and has been very quick with her responses and review of my work. I have found the ‘do it in your own time’ pace so beneficial , as the lack of time constraints has allowed me to not stress about getting things done before a set deadline and has allowed me to put 100% into my studies. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

The support I received during my course was exceptional. I am so grateful for all the opportunities this diploma will open up for me. I never thought I’d get the chance to make something of myself, after suffering will mental health during my late teens, I had to drop out of my A levels, I feel like this has given me the chance to rewrite my destiny.

The course materials are thorough and the assessments challenging. The tutors are extremely supportive. A great place to study with. Even though it's distance learning, experts are on hand to help.
