Non-responsive and unhelpful - at the start this appeared to be a well-organised firm who were on the ball. As soon as the house purchase hit difficulties they did not (and still do not) respond to requests for information and don't appear to be making any effort to get the transaction moving. In addition, they did not read documentation properly, raising enquiries on things to which they already have the answer which is frustrating when there are aspects of the purchase which are actually problematic and these don't seem to warrant any effort. Would not recommend.

Experts At Conveyancing. DezRezLegal are the most efficient Conveyancers that I have ever had the good fortune to use.
They were recommended by my estate agent and I am so glad.
They provide a flowchart of the steps to be gone through and send daily email 'digests' aka updates via the excellent software they use about every step in the process. They confirm each task completed, including chasing the Buyers and Me, no doubt, if any step takes longer than a default expectation. They are Meticulous about telephone contact if you have any query whatsoever, or indeed if they do of you.
Quite Frankly it is a flawless interaction and you are never left wondering what's going on.
Sounds too good to be true? Well I swear that was my truthful experience and I would have no hesitations or reservations in recommending them to everyone in need of Experts in the Art and Science of Conveyancing.
Finally, when I experienced my Partner's frustration and anger when selling her house through her local High Street solicitor, randomly incompetent, delays for no discernable reason by a man with 4 secretaries, I confronted him in Person, and when he asked me if I thought he was lying, I said 'Yes', to his face.

We were dreading the whole process of moving as we had heard such nightmare stories about solicitors holding up the whole mortgage process. But Dezrezlegal were incredibly efficient, keeping us informed every step of the way. It was great receiving regular reports about how everything was progressing without having to chase. Laura Wile, who was the solicitor assigned to us, was amazing. Always replied to e-mails quickly and never made us feel stupid, no matter how silly our questions may have been. She was incredibly approachable. Highly recommend.

We approach Derezlegal with a tight turn around of 7/8 weeks which is extremely tight compared to the average, we are now a week before collecting keys and all is gone to plan! Sara and the team have been extremely helpful and reached all our goals on time, will highly recommend to any friend/family and moving forward will use them again if needed!

If you don’t encounter any issues while buying a house , this company is for you. When problems start, that’s a different story . You can write or call , but don't expect a response.

When you're moving home, there are three things you want from your solicitor - strong communication, competence, and competitive pricing. Dezrezlegal excelled on all three counts. Having dealt with previous solicitors in the house-buying process, they far surpassed expectations and communication was superb throughout. We were updated on progress at every stage so I knew what was going on, what we were waiting for, and next steps after that. The online portal was a blessing for this too so you can see where you are at all times and request updates if required. Our Conveyancer and Property Specialist, Kate Packer, even rang me on a day she felt unwell as she'd said she would, which from a professional standpoint speaks volumes. I felt confident in her ability and the way she navigated issues as they arose (such as a lack of BR for attic conversion), and she was there to provide counsel at any time. Sara Lewis and the team at Dezrezlegal kept us informed all the way through the sale of the property. In this case, the lady dealing with the buyers seemed to be holding the progress up which was frustrating but Sara kept pushing on to get the result we wanted. Often the process can be difficult for the seller to understand, but thankfully they made it easy to understand. I'm pleased to say everything was settled on 23rd February which was finalised quickly and without any problems.
