DX where located in HK and one of the best site to order small electronics from China with free shipping.
10 years ago or 15 years ago the site worked very good.

Fake pricing on the site. Item was advertised as £4.38 but when added to basket price jumps to £6.20. This is not VAT being added as this does not come to £6.20 it is simple fake price on the page hoping people don't notice the massive price increase at checkout.

Horrible customer service, i wanted to cancel an order and opened up a request, they did not reply so i made another ticket, and they still didnt reply and they shipped my order out instead. I asked on the forums and people gaslight you into thinking its your fault because dx.com has this strange system of pushing back requests if you try to update it. Any normal customer would update a request if no one replies to it! DX.com doesnt tell you their strange system of pushing back requests if you update it at all. You can potentially end up not having anyone reply to your request at all because you update it a week later to ask for support.

I've bought items before and while there was always a 4/6 week delay they always arrived. This time the package arrived in country at the beginning of December 2021 according to their tracking number but after a month nothing had changed. I contacted them at the end of January and was assured that if it had not arrived in two weeks a refund would be issued. There was no delivery and now my emails are being ignored. Not happy !!

Don't touch them with a very long pole!! They posted that they had Shipped my smartwatch & then weeks later said they were re-stocking, did I still want it.... Their way of messaging on the website was not always easily accessible - all in all a total shambles! I wish it was possible to give NO stars.

I ordered in late February. Covid happened I can’t reach the sellers and I’ve never received my merchandise. The tracking numbers I was sent are fakes.

I have been trying to log in and keep getting told that the password is wrong so I have to get a code to create a new password , as soon as I do and try to log in I get told the password is wrong even though it's minutes old , now I wonder, after reading the reviews that I have probably been scammed , at least I can get my money back through Paypal.

I would have selected zero stars if that was an option. As of the date of this review, it's been 99 days since the processed payment. Various messages sent with one response of "just give it time". Well, times up. Now it's time to let everybody know...DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DEALEXTREME.

Very satisfied about my order and the customer service. I received the wrong color but perfect quality product.
Contacted the customer service and I got to keep my product and they've given me the option to get my money back or get a replacement.

I had wrong product that I ordered. They wont sent me a correct one and offer me 2dollars compensate when the product costs 16dollars. That is just pure scamming, stay away.

I didn't get my items and they didn't compensate.

Have ordered and waited 1.5 months instead of a few days, I received an extendable metal bar that is not even 2 meters! I asked to be reimbursed, they pretend I did get what I did order. Liars. Stay away of this site!

The worst customer service: I asked for the tracking number of my order as it " seemed to be shipped, as well as to which delivery company they are using. NEVER a straight answer. Always the same automated message.

Check out their review of every product. Five stars and the written reviews are identical. Obviously written by Dx.com itself. Stay away from this site.

I had purchased from DX.com on and off for last 10+ years mostly purchased are LED emitter, LED Drivers, But at "Sep 2020". I ordered a set of 3 DC to DC 8A Adjustable Buck-boost CC/CV Power Supply Module for $9.49. I only received 1 piece, so after I told them about my issue, they change the wording on total price at the website , then told me only come with 1 piece for $9.49, 3 pieces for $14.95. It is sad to see DX.com to cheat on customer now just like aliexpress.com, the whole company image only cost $6.30. So now I only shopping from fasttech, banggood, gearbest now.

I don't know what to say. DealExtreme.com used to be a good place to get cheap products that weren't half bad. However, over the past year or two they've gone completely down hill.

For starters, their reviews have always been one sided. Any negative reviews will be removed. However, now they don't even do that. They'll write a fake 5 star rating for you! You'll notice it once you look at the reiews. "5 star certainly!" lines the whole page exactly the same from every buyer.

Secondly, they estimate 7-18 days to deliver. It's more like 7 months to never. Even before the pandemic, it took them months to deliver a product. Even something so small as a USB adapter.

Thirdly, their products now have gone from OK quality to STAY AWAY quality. I don't know what they've done to their store / suppliers but the products they now deliver are either knock offs of knock offs, or used, or damaged. (And not by the post office.)

Finally, there is NO customer support. I mean that, there is NONE. They claim you get a one year warranty. You don't. Trying to get a refund for a defect product is as easy as cutting off your leg with a hack saw.

I've found that eBay has pretty much everything DealExtreme had. And with eBay, at least you have some form of protection.

In closing, stay away. Please. If you want something cheap, find somewhere else to get it.

avoid this site, cheap quality products, and they say that they give one year warrenty for their electronics when you buy, but its only limited to words , i have been trying to get replacement for 7 months now and i just gave up 😤😤

Very bad customer service. Order stuff at your own risk. My order, after waiting for over 3 months, didn’t arrive. Trying to get a refund, but it’s hard to get a hold of customer service. They will respond once every couple of weeks and then try to stall and make excuses. It has been over 7 months now and I still don’t have my refund.

Very bad company ... three weeks after ordering and paying I went to ask what was going on and they told me they hadn't sent it because there was a lapse and they asked for more shipping money. Now I'm waiting for the refund ...
