AVOID CYBERPOWER PC
I ordered a gaming computer for my son for Christmas; it was over $4.5k, a huge thing for him. It arrived a few days before Christmas with a broken motherboard (likely due to their shipping procedures of mailing the card installed and then forcing packaging material in there). I sent the machine back for them to replace the board and when it returned (its 3rd transit by company policy mandated ground ups) it arrived back with a broken video card. The card powered the display when the board was broken, but did not do so when it was returned to me (again probably because of their shipping methodology and the card's weight). They asked me to send the card back, when they received it back, I was told the card was out of stock and that it would take another month for me to get one unless I agreed to a different card. I agreed to the different card. They notified me two days later that they checked the broken card I sent back and said they "will no longer replace the broken card because the card was broken", which is beyond frustrating. I asked if I could return the computer and get a refund, they replied that I was now beyond the 45 day window, it was then 60 days since purchase because of the repair time on their side and the slow UPS shipping they use. I reached out to their disputes department and they agreed that day to send me the replacement option for the broken card, I accepted it again; but no card was shipped. I called them almost daily asking for a tracking number, to be told it was being tested, then it failed testing but that it was a similar card that they waited for that failed and not the replacement card they had proposed and not to worry they had many of the replacement options and again said they would send it. Another week went by still no tracking number. At that point it was over 3 months since I ordered a computer and several weeks since they agreed to send me a replacement card. So I was forced to chargeback the computer on my credit card. Issuing the chargeback evoked a response from them but how can I trust anything they offer, I am leaving it to my credit card company to handle. I hope you all have better luck with some place else. Side annoyance, their lead RMA guy was about as rude as he was ineffectual.
