I absolutely hate how utterly poor their customer service is. It's been complaining about two issue for about three years now, and nothing what so ever has been done, and they're pretty easy fixes.... See more

crunchyroll go shove your head in a drain
bro imagine shutting down entire websites cos ur shittyass paid website isnt getting enough people because bato.to was a piracy website, sure, but it had countless amounts of all mangas from the 80's now permanently lost
Bad ruined it all
I should of cancelled sooner
I should of cancelled sooner. Should of never took away comments. Also remember guys crunchy roll used to be a pirated site and now they charge. Ive been with them since 2016.
It wasn't always this bad.
If youre a younger user reading this you need to know what it used to be like to use crunchyroll, it was free.
It was more of a late 2010s youtube vibe where you could watch whatever you wanted with an add at the start of the episode, maybe the middle on longer ones.
It had pretty much every single show you could think of, all seasons, most languages (yes dub and sub) and you didnt have to pay to watch the new seasons.
You didnt even need an account back in the day, you could just go on and browse.
These were the days of kissanime and other massive sites and they were still on top purely because the website worked back then and it was just more convenient and safer, now those sites are pretty much gone other than a few that you only really know about from word of mouth and crunchyroll is pretty much unusable, but the average person doesnt know any different.
Now if you want to watch anything you have to go between all five million streaming services using a vpn and hoping one combination of streaming service and country will have the show you want with subtitles or that you can find the subtitles somewhere.
This stuff used to be free.
by far best anime streaming site
Worst Anime site ever
A Small selection of anime, Removing sites, Having a subscription, It's so bad
Crunchyroll has so much but so little…
Crunchyroll has so much but so little forgetting once where they came from.
Shutting down other sites to have an monopoly over the anime industry and yet expet you to pay them so much to watch nothing.
And the service is awful complaining does nothing for dub watchers who want to watch older animes like naruto have fun cause crunchyroll is shutting down anywhere else to watch it in dub and so many more animes suffer this way.
trash webisite
trash webisite. idk how to give a 0.5 star review if it was would give. Crunchyroll forgot where it came from it was an pirate website and then became legal.
⭐ 1/5 — Locked out of my account, poor support, and not worth paying for
I cannot recommend Crunchyroll in its current state.
I contacted Crunchyroll support because I could not log in to my account. I explained clearly that I needed access restored, or if they could not restore it, I wanted the account fully deleted. Instead of actually fixing the problem, support gave me generic replies and said the team already knew about the issue. That is not a solution.
The most frustrating part is that I cannot properly manage or secure my own account while login is broken. I have received security/data exposure alerts connected to the email I use, but because I cannot access my account, I cannot check my settings, change anything, or delete the account myself. That is unacceptable for a paid streaming service.
Crunchyroll also has serious quality problems beyond this account issue. The app and website are buggy, the streaming experience is inconsistent, seasons and shows are missing depending on region, and the catalogue often feels worse than it should considering how much anime Crunchyroll controls outside Japan. It feels like better anime services were absorbed or shut down, but Crunchyroll did not replace them with a better experience.
For anime fans outside Japan, Crunchyroll’s dominance has made the situation worse, not better. I would rather see more anime return to other platforms that can provide better apps, better customer support, better account security, and a more reliable viewing experience.
My request is simple: restore access to my account or provide clear written confirmation that the account and associated data can be fully deleted. Until Crunchyroll seriously improves its login system, account support, app stability, regional catalogue issues, and customer service, I do not think people should support this service with a paid subscription.
It would be better if Crunchyroll just…
It would be better if Crunchyroll just stopped providing this disservice.
Greedy ahh and shitty website
Taking down free anime sites and…
Taking down free anime sites and raising subscription prices
Crunchyroll
Crunchyroll, who started out as a pirating website, is killing other major free anime websites while jacking up their own prices and have a piss poor selection of shows on their site.
Forcing fans to your service is cheap...
Shutting down free anime streaming sites is such a cheap way to force fans to use Crunchyroll. It's not our fault that your service sucks and that free streaming services are just better than yours...
Needs a "Drop" feature and episode comments
I really need a way to drop an anime from my feed. My "Continue Watching" list keeps growing with shows I have no intention of finishing. Additionally, adding a comment section below every episode would be a great way to improve community engagement.
Terrible
Terrible. Small ahh Library & Shitty Subtitles + removing already added Animes (86), restricts comparatively smaller but legal services like Muze Asia (on YT) to premiere an Anime on its Airing Date (Re:Zero & Muze Asia has WAY BETTER subtitles of Re:Zero than Crunchyroll), sells user data to 3rd Party Companies, User's CC's ENTIRE info including the ENTIRE CVV/Card No ./Name was stored on the website and then leaked through their admin/mod acc and even tried to keep that info secret without publically informing and apologising.
