I really rated the plants i bought, they were packaged well and were healthy but they lose a point as unfortunately I have just realised the beans i bought to sow will be out of date. Use by Jan 2027, sow April to June. They arrived literally 30th June 2026. I will risk sowing some now in July to see if they grow but potentially a bit of waste of money. Would have been helpful to know the use by date before I bought them not just the sowing time.

Fast delivery, excellent plants ( this is speaking from my experience of plants as a landscape designer and running my small nursery) way back when !!… l am now in my eighties, and have limited mobility but love my garden…The plants were potted on as soon as l took delivery and they look amazing now, l would recommend everyone does that, they grew so very quickly, far quicker than if they had been planted out while so small, they have all filled out a 2 litre pot in such a short space of time, which blows the saying “ first year sleep, second year creep, third year leap”out of the water, l am just waiting for some beautiful rain to fall as l am on clay soil, and needless to say it’s totally impossible to plant into clay soil under drought conditions. Can’t wait to see them in their special places in my garden… Thank you Crocus team, l whole heartedly recommend your company…X

Nice plants. Delivered quickly. All in good condition except one fuchsia which was infested with fuchsia gall mite. Cut it back and it is recovering.

Ordered a little brown turkey fig tree a few weeks ago, which has arrived undamaged with 5 little main crop figs on it.
I have planted it out on arrival and it is still looking healthy.

Bought a Dianthus Doris, arrived incredibly root bound in its pot. Have never seen a brand new plant that root bound before.. repotted onto a larger pot immediately and broke up the bounded roots.. however hasn't taken too well at all, even now in the ground.. the leaves are very yellow and the plant is dying. What a waste of money. I should have remembered that last year, I had bought a fuchsia Garden News from Crocus that was made up of two spindly twigs and that didn't survive the Autumn either.. 2 bad purchases out of 3, so not a great track record. Won't be buying from them again.
