Katrina was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable throughout our showroom visit. She took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all our questions without any pressure to make a decision. We really appreciated her patience and excellent customer service as a walk in customer .

This location is in south Hailsham. The reputation of this town for safe and a good quality atmosphere is let down by the crime rate and this site has doubtful neighbourhood.

We were welcomed at Castle field Park by Bev, she was warm and very professional at her job and knew what she was talking about. She took time to explain everything, offered us drinks as it was a very hot day. Bev took us to view the properties and told us to take our time. Had good knowledge of the area. Only downside no 2 beds to offer. But the two properties visited were lovely.

Sally was great, knew her stuff and was very welcoming to me at the development.
I think the development has been very well designed, but i won’t be going forward to an offer as I’ve decided to buy a freehold property.

Awful company, too many serious snags for such an investment.
Said snags are then attempted to be repaired multiple times through bodge jobs and not by official building standards. No compensation offered by the company and this is after weeks maybe even a months of combined appointment times.
We have had to have a ridiculous amounts of repairs. With almost no resolution to date on any of them and this is since October 2025.
Major issues:
Replaced all kitchen worktops as originals all delaminated.
Re-levelled kitchen screed as it was out by 23mm causing kitchen table to rock and unevenness felt whilst walking.
Re-levelled living room as there was a crater 19mm deep that was easily felt whilst walking through as it dipped down.
Flooring in main bedroom was uneven so the carpet had to be taken up and bumps levelled out. Still not happy with this as it noticeably higher when walking towards the window. Why does this get signed off?
Shower has leaked multiply times causing flooding in to main bedroom and ruining both carpet and wood trim. After countless visits maybe 7-8 from the mastic company they decided to replace as it was deemed faulty. This was after what I had told them from the start! They never listen though and would rather waste the customers time (it would seem) or maybe they are just that bad at repairs?
En-suite sink was out of level picked up via snagging report. We were without a sink for two months because the plumbers, tilers and plasterers wouldn’t take ownership or come up with a plan.
The mortar on the house was badly pointed in places due to the wrong colour of mortar being used. We are in the process of getting it repaired. I had to point out after they had raked out the affected joints, that they hadn’t done this to the correct industry standards. This should be from around 15-20mm deep to allow sufficient grab strength. They had done most of it to around 5-7mm….Currently still waiting for this all to be resolved but it really is a joke with how long we have to wait.
We have had all the flashing on our garage roof re done as this was letting in rain water and flooding inside our garage walls causing damp and mould.
Garden has been flooded and we are waiting to see if it happens again as that is what we’ve been told. Apparently it’s the site traffic that has caused compaction of soil and it will spring back…not because it’s basically all clay.
Kitchen doors have been replaced due to what looked like someone cleaning the windows with a gritty cloth.
Stairs newel post was so far out that carpenters turning up to repair couldn’t believe it.
Stairs has been repaired so many times I’ve lost count. In our previous new build we never had one creak in our stairs. In this new build we have creaks and pops everywhere. Again rather than just replace the whole lot they try to do spot repairs and butcher your pride and joy. To date we are still waiting on the plaster board to be replaced to close up the holes, which should be done this week. After the last repair I was told point blank by site manager and carpenter that creaking noise was normal. Yes expansion and contraction noises are acceptable due to heating/temperature changes. Noise caused by improper or failed structural workmanship is not. If trustpilot allowed pictures or better yet videos, then I would have a field day here. Exploiting the shoddy and unacceptable build quality of this awful company.
There are still loads of little snags that need completing on top of all this, but I would rather them concentrate on one thing at a time as any more than one thing seems to confuse them. This has happened multiple times with missed appointments, people randomly turning up without appointments and companies that were booked to do the work, not actually being booked.
I would not recommend this company to anyone and compared to my last property that had a few snags (some that were bad) this has been a nightmare.
You get made to feel like everything is in your head with the amount they try to fob you off with.
It’s not good enough to hand your money over to receive faulty goods and then basically be told a lot of it’s normal/fobbed off from almost everyone I’ve spoken to. They need to use independent self employed tradesman, that take pride in their work and not big company’s that constantly pass blame from colleague to colleague or from one trade to another.
There has been one decent company with two really professional guys from Masons flooring. They were the ones that levelled and relaid our amtico flooring.
Some other good workers but most likely have their hands tied by money saving protocol's.
Furthermore there have been jobs that have been done to a good standard but this is from a lot of perseverance and pressure from our side as customers.

I submitted my review early May on boundary issues and yet no one from crest has reached out to me. After sales crest doesn't care. Customer service is not helpful and slow to respond. I moved to property in march 2022 and only found out boundary issues in march 2024. For 2 yrs i followed crest to fix it and since crest refuse to fix I have accepted current boundary as it is in march 2026 and yet things haven’t been progressed by crest to complete the land register. Crest has been my worst nightmare to deal with. I wouldn’t recommend crest to anyone.

Arranged to view a number of houses on Saturday 20th June after making an initial appointment on Monday 15th June. Had numerous calls throughout the week to check details and ensure all was ok for Saturday. Arrived for our appointment and the lady on reception knew nothing about it and had no keys available. A real waste of time. No follow up call or communication.

Jo and the team at Aspen Grange have been amazing so far in the process of buying a house. They have been attentive and understanding and have gone out of their way to ensure a smooth journey so far in our house buying process.
I cannot fault anything so far and I am really looking forward to securing a plot on the development in due course.

Ryan was amazing as we were first time buyers and totally clueless, although we didn’t purchase via Crest due to them not having a big enough property available on the site as it was the end of the phase at Whiteley, he was brilliant and is still part of our buying experience. The customer service and the quality of the build and spec, was outstanding. The information and guidance was so valuable, but Crest were highly recommended and we have a few friends that have crest builds on that site and they love their homes. Thank you Ryan

Kira L is a gem to the team. My situation always complicated and I talk to a lot too, she’s always being patient with me, answering all my questions and concerns, amazing knowledge supported her great customer service with an outstanding sales skill! I have put down the reservation fees and I have to wait until around 08/07/2026 to get the mortgage due to my complicated situations, fingers are crossed and can’t wait the magic happens next! Thank you 😊
