Be aware that this company experienced a data breach in May 2024 of which they informed me in March 2025. All my personal information has been stolen. The resolution that they have offered to safeguard myself is woefully inadequate and they seem completely disinterested in my stress and the worry that they have caused. Telephone calls to complain are not answered satisfactory and it is not possible to speak to anyone in authority. Appalling customer service.

I shall not renew any of my policies with this company and am now seeking legal advice.

Excellent service for Horsebox insurance. Had to make a claim few years ago which was handled very efficiently and sympathetically. Always responded to phone call quickly and effectively. Very pleasant staff

Very disappointing service. I am a recent client, but wish I had not given them my business.
They do not reply to communications, always have to be chased, and are generally ridiculously slow in responding. Even then, they do not deal with many of the issues raised.
I dread the possibility of making a claim…

I've been insuring my business through County (Wrexham Insurance) for a number of years. The premiums are competitive and the team are polite and friendly to deal with. No complaints my side.

A company that does not give a toss about anything except their bottom line. If you expect good service from them, forget it. They insured a car that was crashed into by a drunk driver over 10 weeks ago, and have still NOT BOTHERED to remove the vehicle from outside my property where it is overlapping my driveway. Awful service, avoid at all costs.

Spoke a number of times with Chris regarding a home buildings and contents quote. He undertook to provide a quote before our renewal date but didn’t. The renewal date has now past with insurance placed elsewhere. Don’t waste your time with this company

We recently made the decision to leave NFU as a vehicle insurance due to the increase in costs, after doing a compare search we came across County Insurance the broker we used was a guy called Arron Maxwell, he was extremely helpful searching the market to find the right deal for our company, which he did.
I would definitely recommend County Insurance if you are looking to change insurance companies, we will be using them again when our Public and Employers Liability is due later in the year.

I wouldn’t even leave a one star but I had no other choice worst customer services been with this broker for 4 years had single vehicle and an electric vans fleet insurance policies with them I’ve renewed my single van insurance policy and it’s was renewed by their sales agent called Jill forkin after renewal she asked to provide mine and driver’s license and dvla check code and v5 which is sent before the dead line and 4 weeks later I’ve received her voice message saying that underwriter has cancelled the policy while I was at work (im a courier work for Dpd) as I didn’t provide the documents in time however when I called her she found my email in her inbox but she never bothered to check her inbox and I needed up got cancelled the policy by underwriter not only this I requested for two instalments of the premium so I did pay £1517 in the beginning so after 6 days cover provided by them all I’ve received £308 it’s a joke I’m going to post this on the social media as my policy was cancelled while I was at work and had to purchase a temporary insurance policy to get home on the top I’ve lost £1208 in 6 weeks not only this just because of her carelessness policy was cancelled and I ended up paying higher premium for a new insurance policy from a different broker stay away from them at any cost further I’m taking it to their ceo alistair Christopher let’s see if he can help me to get it resolved .

We have used the county group for our property insurance for many years, we have 13 properties all over the country so it can be pretty complicated! The staff especially Elain Marquis have always been friendly, helpful and of course very competent.

Great service from Elaine in detailing our quotation and having the patience to take us through the details and answers our questions especially as we were on the deadline for renewal.

Cancelled insurance, no refund, still paying creditors for insurance I don't have,

Made a claim for glass, they recovered car, lost car, my tracker told me where it was,, picked up car 4 days later, glass not repaired, had to pay myself,

Now told I have to pay for recovery before I get refund, that's blackmail

Saved me a lot of money on home insurance.

Kay was excellent throughout the process. She kept me informed and was competitive. I would recommend her and would use her for my future insurance purposes.

Recommended our insurance, when we came to be on the horrendous position of being burgled, the insurance they signposted us to, looked for any way they could avoid paying out. Asked for county’s help and was hardly responded to and forgotten about.

The County Group owners have purchased a number of local insurance brokers over the last few years. They now have a policy of refusing to quote against each other and therefore giving their current customers less choice and higher prices.
IMO this is a cartel.
I have now switched companies.
