I give their products a five but they use DX express as delivery agents who are incompetent and a bunch of liars Last order should have been delivered on 12/6 but spent all that day in Rotherham apparently a surprising location given that the cheese was coming from Cornwall to Cheshire! DX Express lied to the cheese company saying the driver ran out of hours Not with my cheese he didn’t as their own systems showed that it never moved from 0820 on 12/6 until the early hours of 13/6
Great cheese but l won’t be buying again if they can’t grantee delivery on the day chosen There was a reason l wanted it delivered yesterday Disappointing
Last year I was offered large flat cheeses of Camambert or Brie. At £5 each I could not resist. The cheeses were very rip and runny soft. I could not manage more than a half but friends enjoyed them. This year it was standard Blue Cheese and this was perfect. Main thing I liked was that they sliced beautifully. Very much enjoyed on biscuits. They were only about 4" in diameter so just half of one for our cleaning lady. I await this years offerering.
Update - I also emailed the Cornish Cheese Company about this a week ago and this week I've had an apology and promise that a new order will be delivered the week before Christmas. 😊😁
I received an email from this company with an offer to pre-order gift hampers of cheese for Christmas. They duly arrived today and the use by dates for the cheeses are 29th Nov and 10th December.
I called customer service to complain and was essentially told it was my fault for not selecting a later delivery date.
This instruction was nowhere in the email and not obvious in the checkout process.
I have ordered a few kilos (!) of the most delicious cheese from this company to cheer up the household during these strange times, and cannot fault the Customer Service, or the quality of their products. Highly recommended, and the Loyalty Points Scheme is wonderful too! Credit where the credit is due!
