My Cobratec experience
I have purchased 5 knives from these guys, 3 are mine and 2 as gifts. 2 large FS-X's and 1 medium stonewash for me. I have owned and used them on everything under the sun since 2021. There has never been a flaw in any type of function. So...I chipped the tip off of my first FSX and it was super dull from usage and not to mention looked terribly beaten up. I called Cobratec and asked about getting it cleaned, oiled and sharpened under the warranty. They told me just make a note of what to do and send it in. Im not even sure it was a full week that went by and my knife was back in my mailbox! I quickly inspected it and was thrilled with the work they did except one tiny part...my original FSX came with the microtech style screws requiring the special tool. They had replaced the original screws with new allen wrench style. I was a little discouraged because I love to keep my stuff original so I called them again and didnt fuss but just left a message really wanting my original screws back. Buddy it was only maybe a week that went by and I looked in my mailbox and sure enough, there is the package with my screws!!! Also Tyler had included a post it note saying he was sorry!!!! Everything was packaged like a pro too. Later that same day I see Cobratec on my phone's ID. It was Tyler calling to personally say sorry for the screws. I told him it was just a bummer and I wasnt angry. In fact every single working component of this business I am a huge fan of!!! Its not everyday you get a top tier product that never fails and looks awesome AND have THE BEST customer service available in the industry!!!!! Thanks again Tyler and company. Cobratec for life!!!!
