sent us threatening letter , which also states do not contact us. make it make sense. we are in the process of a formal complaint and their client has taken retaliatory action against us by getting these clowns to send threatening letter. I will seek legal advice against them and their client as their threats have no basis in reality.
Excellent ServiceI
I, and my father before me, have dealt with this firm for more than 40 years and have always had kind, professional and efficient service in dealing with complex family trusts and my sister’s intestacy.

I have nothing but praise for the professional way in which CW staff have helped over the years with any legal matter I’ve had to deal with.

UNPROFFESSIONAL Disgraceful
UNPROFFESSIONAL Disgraceful, skip to another company.
I contacted these solicitors early November 2025, my claim had a time limitations, it took them until we'll into January 2026 to decline my business? I contacted the ceo and also complaints, no apology, no explanation, in fact nothing. TOTALLY UNPROFFESSIONAL.

Awful show, no due diligence and don’t represent their clients interests
2018 to 2020 Clinical negligence team. Living with the consequences now. Never met. So never understood the negligence. Missed information which showed a lack of effort and due diligence. Talk unscientific offensive nonsense about my dead mum. I would have ripped the contract then. Had to waste an appointment with a brain injury personal assistant on phone to tell the associate to never write nonsense about my family. They refused to engage with me. I knew then they lost. Show their true colours. Horrible firm writing an opinion about someone that is dead or never met. Wouldn’t bother. Everyday crassness on neurological disorders. Went on another year to get like their fourth choice as these witnesses kept dropping out. Irrational. Illogical. Like do you get your fourth choice when you go Waitrose? They had no understanding whatsoever. This firm clinical negligence is terrible. There was no point signing the contract. Behave cocksure like “I am here to make your life easier”. Well that only matters if you do anything successfully. Even when the witness came back they quoted the doctor I saw. Conflict of interests. The hospital I went is UK specialist for the medical condition I was treated. I would have told them if they bothered to listen to me. Waste of time reading. This firm clinical negligence doesn’t understand its clients or represent them effectively or properly. In their best interests. How they couldn’t do anything shows ineptitude and incompetence. How someone with a brain injury win two tribunals, and get a social care reward from the local authorities shows there was a way to win. Like I’ve no law knowledge. Two wrongs don’t make a right. Wouldn’t delete my records. Horrible firm. They got their secretary to send the final email. It was just cowardice. Literally don’t listen to instructions. I strongly recommend not collaborating with this firm’s clinical negligence team. This firm clinical negligence needs to stay away from autoimmune and neurological conditions. End of. The wrong treatment isn’t the acceptable treatment or the right treatment. 2018 to 2020. I hope they have improved and never get involved in something they can’t represent efficiently, due diligence or successfully. I still live with the consequences now November 2025

I contacted Clarke Willmott regarding a…
I contacted Clarke Willmott regarding a potential judicial review against the Ombudsman Service. The response was polite but somewhat unclear, even after I sought clarification. Additionally, I was surprised to see another institution mentioned, as I had not raised them as a concern. While I appreciate the time taken to consider my enquiry, the communication could have been more transparent.
Friendly, efficient, prompt responses, pro-active

Stephanie Slinn has investigated whether worth my while to undertake a legal process and spent some considerable time foc before giving estimate.
Couldn't have been better.

unprofessional and only interested in money
I had 1 meeting with a solicitor at the Birmingham office and was only sent the terms and conditions after the meeting. I was charged over £3200 for that 1 meeting and a letter which just repeated what I said in the meeting. I have complained and will not be using the firm and cannot recommend them.
They keep asking for information again
They keep asking for information again, they do not explain how old documents can be and they must be the only people not using Council Tax records that are more than 3 months old. We are no nearer finalising anything with this Company. Prevarication is the word that comes to mind, delay at all cost, well at Customers cost. Let us stretch this out a much as we can, each month is another bill and deduction to me made,

Poor service
Slow service from their compliance department, lack of pragmatism and insistence on sending confidential information by email.
So expensive I wonder if it's legal!
So expensive I wonder if it's legal!! They charged £20000 for probate on a £450000 estate with one property for sale and savings!
They allowed the executor to claim £12000 personal expenses travelling from London to Bristol to'look after the flats.
They were unbelievably expensive, rude, slow and incompetent.
Seriously do not use.
Seriously
Not worth their exorbitant charges
How can solicitors be allowed to charge more than 10 times the average man's hourly salary and then adding VAT for doing so little?! I'm not even confident they were experienced in the particular area of law. Appalling experience.
Professional in every aspect…
I found the company to be extremely thorough, I had a very complex medical case and I cannot thank them enough for the hard work the team put in.
It wasn’t all plain sailing and neither did we agree all the time, sometimes I was made to listen.
I dealt with James Edmunson at Taunton, he is very very organised probably aided by his wonderful secretary Vanessa Nicholls, but they are excellent and I have nothing but respect, James who probably has OCD will tell you pretty much exactly how it is, if you wish to deal with a solicitor who will tell you what you want to hear ring elsewhere.

Divorce proceedings
Appointed this firm to get a further judgement on my divorce and it was clear from the start that they had no real expertise in the issue despite taking thousands of pounds off me to arrive at a position no further forward after two years of me chasing them for progress, Constantly blaming the "Court System" knowing all the time that we could be outsmarted by my ex very easily. Shifty Bunch, not to be trusted, steer clear.
EXCELLENT !! Alex Walsh at Clark Willmott
I used Alex Walsh at Clark Wilmott llp to sell my first commercial business he was absolutely excellent in every way, I always had an answer to a problem straight away or legal jargon explained, very professional, helpful, very reasonable cost and also kept all promises. I would recommend using Alex when selling a business every time!
