I made a recent property purchase and had an exceptional conveyancing team. Tina and Tracy were fantastic throughout the process and with their knowledge and experience overcame challenges along the way. They are a credit to RWK Goodman and would highly recommend their services.

We recently completed the 'sale' (of our past home in Oxfordshire) and 'purchase' (new home in West Sussex).

This was a very long, drawn-out process, namely b/c in the midst of our sale/purchase of properties, our original solicitor firm, 'HMG Law' (Oxford), was proceeding on a merger with 'RWK Goodman' (Oxford).

What should have taken 3-months to fulfil the legal process, took almost 5-months on a very small/simple chain.

In the end, we were very grateful to two key individuals, 'Jo Kent' & 'Teodora Nizirova' whom between them, managed to get the sale/purchase of properties over the line by 31st March 2026.

We are extremely grateful to them both for their tenacity, out-of-the-box thinking, endless email communications and phone support to get us over the finish line.

Do not contact this law firm, it is a waste of time. Before Daisy Stanton-Skovhus paralegal contacted me, I wrote all the information and my problem to RKW Goodman Solicitors. She was aware that I did not have a specialist diagnosis yet, as this is currently being handled by a new GP, in hospitals independent of the NHS Trust that has been conducting my examinations so far. Despite this, she asked me for personal data, information, and documents containing
evidence, which was almost 100 pages. After this, about 3 hours later, the following response came:

Unfortunately, based on the evidence we have seen, we do not feel able to investigate the claim further on your behalf.

In such a long time, Daisy Stanton-Skovhus paralegal could neither read nor interpret such a large amount of documents.

I have described how my health has been deteriorating continuously since 2013, my former GP and three NHS Trust hospitals have not been examined, they have denied all my symptoms and problems. It all started due to mishandling of side effects caused by a contraceptive implant, which led to my former GP treating me for anxiety and asthma. The medicines prescribed to me without examination caused further side effects and permanent health damage. I have been to the emergency department several times. In 11/2023, after a pedestrian accident, my symptoms worsened, and new symptoms appeared, as well as injuries caused by the accident. My GP has not been examined, he has denied my problems, the three NHS Trust hospitals have also swept the problems under the carpet. The new GP and several doctors have said that I am already at high risk of having a stroke or heart attack. Because of this, I have been sent to the emergency department several times, where they did not treat me, as they said that these problems are long-term and need to be investigated. This was said in the emergency department of the NHS Trust hospitals where the cardiologists have been denying my symptoms for years.
I will list some of my problems, which are not enough for this law firm to deal with my case.

06/2024 right and left kidney cortical scarring after pedestrian accident, quite irregular

Fluctuating high blood pressure; 56/33/-131- 235/110/123
Pulse fluctuation:39-200
Blood oxygen level:59-100

Since the accident:
- fibroids
- polyps
- ovarian cyst
- nabothian cisgland
- multiple cysts in the abdomen
- adenomyosis

These are all untreated, the medications prescribed by the former GP without testing caused a strong drug allergy in me, currently the only drug that does not cause a drug allergy in me is paracetamol. These are only fragments of what the new GP has determined.



2 weeks after I sent this firm an email about a property deed of surrender I finally received a reply which began 'Hi followed by my christian name'. I do not know the solicitor personally, have never met her or had any dealings with her in the past, so to begin a first time correspondence so informally I believe is extremely unprofessional. I actually thought that another scam had landed in my inbox and almost deleted the email before reading its contents. The paperwork that arrived from this firm, which they wanted me to sign, was riddled with spelling mistakes (something else you would not normally expect from an employee of a law firm) even to the point of spelling my deceased Father's surname correct on the cover and incorrectly in the pages inside. It only proved to me that however educated in matters of the law, some staff really need extra training on etiquette and how to use the correct salutation. From my point of view addressing a person correctly is not only essential but a sign of respect. It they get that wrong they obviously do not value your custom.
Had it been me who contacted this person in the first instance instead of a family member, I would have taken my business elsewhere!

My solicitor was Rachel Carmen the loviest lady I have ever met. Professional and caring and went above and beyond to help me. Now my case is settled I feel sad that I will probably never hear her comforting voice again.

This was the first time we had used these solicitors. We were recommended the name of a senior partner but got a junior member of the team. She seemed to think everything we needed was just too much trouble. Any requests were met with excuses as to why they hadn't been done. This was also by the senior partner when we went to them with a request to help our situation. Often, to have our phone call answered we would need to withhold our number!
We ended up only completing on our sale and purchase due to the considerable number of calls and emails we ourselves put in.
We have used many solicitors for conveyancing purposes before, but this was by far the worst experience ever, way more stressful than it needed to be.

I instructed Roisin O’Dubhlaoidh to assist me with a claim for compensation following an accident at a property which was undergoing renovation.
