This company is a scam

I would've even give a star! All the staffs are trained to take people's money! I have challenged my PCN and court has accepted my appeal. Regardless of that the CDER group messages me to pay the balance or someone will visit my house. Although my case with them was on hold. I called the adviser said your case must've been rejected by court so you have to pay now or someone will come to your house. I got scared had a panic attack. I called court they said no it's wrong your case is accepted! I called transport for London they were shocked to hear they said it has nothing to do with CDER anymore! From my experience they just want your money they are not professional!

Refund.. FINALLY

after 16 weeks I finally got my refund from CDER! 16 weeks!! They tried telling me a I would not receive a refund at all, the way they dealt with the whole situation was shambolic and as long as you continue to battle with your local authority you stand a great chance of winning. What a complete waste of time the whole thing was from start to finish for a completely innocent situation.

Aggressive bailiffs and staff

What a truly shocking debt collection company.
They use bailiffs that are aggressive ,the communication with staff is aggressive and they shouldn’t be allowed to deal with debt as they have no understanding or want to know about individual circumstances .

Even the emails they send has a threatening undertone
What didn’t surprise me was their horrendous track record .the reviews sum up this company who are just bailiffs and debt collectors

They need shutting down

They need shutting down, I believe they are corrupt. Horrible, ruthless people working for them.
Anybody interested to bring a legal action against them for their extortionate charges and harassment, then please contact me.
Disgusting organisation. I got two horrible people on the phone, a woman called Charley and a guy called Kyle or Karl, not sure. I tried to renegotiate a payment arrangement when I've only got 2 payments left to make, and I can't even afford to buy food. But Charley said "That's my problem". They clearly need to be reported.

I Paid CEDR GROUP £1,900, 8 days later sent enforcement out again saying i now owe another £1100. I have now reported to Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), National Trading Standards (NTS) and The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). Mr Whyte Is a desperate wrongen.

They are harassing innocent people

These b@stards woke me up several times at 6am looking for the previous owner of my house. Then an agent appeared at my doorstep, claiming they have a court order to enter my house, despite me not being associated with that person whatsoever nor that being their property any more. And now, they want MY personal details to prove that what I say is true. Their customer agent on the phone was rude and hung up on me. We should file a class lawsuit action and claim millions of pounds in compensation for this disgusting behaviour and harassment.

Disgraceful

I received through MY letterbox a letter addressed to an unknown person threatening their "intention to take control of goods" over a £400 debt. I called them out of courtesy to let them know they have the wrong address. The woman who answered the phone would not allow me to speak, would not help and was rude. She tried telling me that I needed to send proof of who I am to them!!! She spoke to me like I was the dirt on her shoe. I have spent years dealing with the public by phone. This is not the way to do it. Disgraceful. Shame on them - and her.

Completely ineffective

Completely ineffective. They sign their emails as "CDER Group Customer Care," yet demonstrate no care whatsoever. Rather than providing a clear explanation of the situation, they resort to stating the most basic concepts, only to follow up in the same message with thinly veiled threats.

While in contact with them they sent an email claiming that I had not been in contact with them at all, so they could initiate enforcement action.

Self-important jobsworths who, instead of being helpful, relish the thought of making life difficult for others.

Scare decent people looking for a person I don’t know

The company came to my house at 6 AM looking for someone who used to live here. I woke up very disorientated and thinking something worse had happened.

You should improve your approach. I have nothing to do with you, and you disturbed my personal peace with that approach.

If scaring nice people is your way to work you are doing this very wrong.

I am the one now looking for my rights.

I really think they even deserve the…

I really think they don’t even deserve the 1star.I crossed Dartford and it was my first time paid the charge 24 hours late. This company then clamped my car and left a cell number to contact, which I did, was told I now owe £650.Their agent said to pay £450 to unclamp my car, then pay £250 b4 end of the month.I paid a week later the balance and I get another massage saying I still owe £450.Sent them an email to prove my payments. They informed me the agent had changed and he hadn’t informed his office of the agreement.I fail to see why I should pay for their agent’s mistake. They have been harassing me with texts and unstop calls.

Rule breaking

Story starts in town i enter a bus lane no markings on the turn and an action i had to take owing to a vehicle oncoming which would have blocked the highway in both directions.
It was a large truck, the car behind me did exactly the same cut at a convenient moment for the evidence on the MCR council site, i challenged it and they surprisingly upheld themselves.
They then sent dogs CEDR a few weeks later in January where my £75 fine was now a £389 payment.
I was forced to pay £100 then £289 on feb 28th which is non negotiable not once was I questioned or asked about my finances i did raise this and explained this was not affordable, it would cause some problems which i do not want to go into.
They basically did not care, I then two weeks ago complained on the council website to which i got no response not even a reference ,I have just repeated that today.
To act like they the council care about people`s wellbeing is a joke
How are companies like CEDR not privvy to the same rules as every other company when it comes to peoples finances?

I missed 1 payment from the agreed plan…

I missed 1 payment from the agreed plan due to fraud on my bank account and card number changed. The baliff didnt listen to the reason why the payment wasnt made due to card number changing for the payment hence why it failed. Working so close to the government I'm so supprised they employ thugs and explain the truthful scenario that caused them to put extra fees on when I had one payment to make when I just got made redudant the same week. My advise is to look into your rights regarding these baliffs for CDER thugs and money grabbers
