Not at all impressed with the website - it amounts to misselling in my view in that there are headline prices (ie £94/day) that when you click through take you to "our partnered website - "Easyterra" at almost £150/day.
If this reflects the way that business is conducted even before agreeing a contract, god knows what would happen in the event of any issues!

The website doesn’t highlight additional costs such as limited mileage, which you only find out after booking. The associated costs are then covered in the terms and conditions. Very deceptive.

Booked a car on site whilst in usa, upon arrival for collection of car at eurocar was told that I had no insurance and was forced to pay £575 for 2 weeks insurance. In checking booking no cdw was included in voucher as is normal for uk rentals. Complained to Carrentals.co.uk, received a thanks for your feedback, it helps improve our services. Never us Carrental.co.uk if in usa!! I will never use them again.

We have used rentalcars.com on a number of occasions and been an advocate. But, NOT now. We used them for our latest trip to Spain and through their negligence and lack of transparency, it costs us HUNDREDS of pounds.

When we returned to the UK and raised this matter as requested by their customer services representative, rentalcars.com management have failed to reply.

Very confusing communication. When we changed the pick up time of our booking resulted in a email which headed "your car ready for pick up is cancelled". So we booked another car directly at Herz/Thrifty (where we should have picked up the car) and lost our money. Customer service acknowledged that communication has been poorly but wouldn't give any refund. So we paid twice for one and the same rental car . Who is benefitting?

Works really well - compares rental sites and the booking process is easy. The vouchers are emailed and you don't always need them when you collect the car as the information has been correctly passed on.

Very helpful agents, but one has to call England to speak to them.
We booked a car in Italy from US. I had to change the return time by 2 hours and was told that I had to cancel the existing reservation and book a new one which would cost $75 extra. I greed but later they just charged me the $75 and they sent me a new confirmation number from Sicily by Car.
The voucher information showed British Pound, but my original reservation showed USD and all the other details are in Euro which makes for a confusing situation.
I ordered a worry free rental, but the voucher information showed all kinds of deductibles in Euro which makes it difficult to know what worry free really means. There has to be a better explanation of worry free rental and how it works

When I collected the car ar Faro, some minor marks and scratches were pointed out to me that I hadn't noticed. Overall the whole experience was quick and we were on the road far sooner than expected.
Very pleased with the service.

Picked up a car from Avis in Sumburgh, Shetland. It was all very simple and straightforward, as was the drop off (in fact they were very flexible as I had to go back yo the hotel to pick up a bag I left, and so gave the vehicle back about 4 hours late).

Really quick and efficient service. Less that 5 minutes before we were dealt with at desk, collection and drop off which is so appreciated when travelling with children.
