Lousy Card Connect
Card Connect is the worst game app I’ve played ever. Started out great, but instead of an Ad after each game, it forced Ads after each move. It was ridiculous. DELETED

This company will charge you exorbitant fees and shamelessly refuse to refund. Fees that other POS providers charge for less than $10, Card Connect would charge hundreds and shamelessly refuses to refund, thinking that they are in the driver's seat, there's nothing we small business can do. Their other trick is to downgrade your transactions to the categories that warrant a higher fee. My advice is, always find out from your POS provider which credit card processing they use before you sign on.
I understand there are scammers in all businesses especially when it comes to monetary transactions. Card Connect is one that put on sheep's clothing and in fact is a big had wolf that takes advantage of small businesses through excessive fees. This card payment processor is an outfit that charges dubious fees regularly (signature verification, debit sales discount etc.) and every so often put in a big charge of $299 in the name of compliance, or year end regulatory etc. It's endless. I am switching to another processor for sure immediately but I will file a complaint with Better Business Bureau as well. Merchants, beware of this company. Don't get gouged.
I have been dealing with card pointe for about a month now. We discovered that they have been taking money out of my account even though we don’t use their merchant service.
A few years ago I spoke to them with interest in switching my card services. We started to go through the process but quickly realized this wasn’t a fit. I didn’t proceed with this company.
A couple months later I received a PCI compliance notice and called this company to make sure I wasn’t being charged and my account wasn’t live. I was assured that my account wasn’t activated. This was in sometime in 2021
We never received any equipment and we said no to service.
Flash forward to October 2023, my accountant noticed that this company has been pulling money out of my account every month. The same amount 2x per month. This has been going on for a long time. Thousands of dollars has been siphoned out of my business account over time. It wasn’t noticed because it was labeled with a generic merchant services and it took some doing to figure out who this was.
I contacted the company a bunch of times, always on a Monday and asked for my money back and to cancel the accounts. I was promised call backs from supervisors and a quick resolve. None of this happened. I spoke to different employees who gave me the run around, from saying that it was cancelled and refund on way to saying they can’t cancel it because I have to do it in writing, which I copied you on but now I can’t get confirmation that it was actually done. My phone calls go unanswered or disconnect while on hold.
The last time I spoke to someone about the refund (right before the holidays) they said no because they had an application and that’s all they needed to open the account and charge me. I used the logic that if I had someone apply to my company It doesn’t mean they are hired because I have an application. I asked to talk to a supervisor or manager but this company seems to run without any. When I applied I thought it was in 2020 but they said 2021…and even though I never accepted the terms they can basically do what they want.
Pet in the City used Cayan (Tsys) and went to Lightspeed over a year ago. This company never has been involved in my business. I’ve been open from 6/18 until now.
I would like to press charges and I want my money back that they stole with interest I still do not know if I’m cancelled. I’ve sent that email 2x. I was told this is the only way to cancel. No response and no one returns calls. Now when they pick up I get disconnected right from the beginning.
Cardpointe or card connect is the company. Trustpiliot has real reviews peppered with fake 5 stars - as no one but someone from the company talks that way.
Run away. We went to the NC Consumer affairs and they ignored this letter and request 2x. I was given options and We are going forward with pursuing our money.
STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY.
THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY. The fees are way more than other places and they will charge you a $800 cancellation fee with out even telling you.
SAVE YOUR MONEY AND USE A DIFFERENT CREDTI CARD COMPANY.
Terrible business and terrible customer service. If you are going to trust someone with FUNDS especially as a small business. Everything was going well until it was not. They have withheld 25,000 dollars from me. This issue has been going on since 19 March. This is causing financial hardship on me , my family and business.
We are part of a franchise and our group works with BluePay CardConnect so we have to use their service for now.
When everything runs well, we don't have a problem with the system.
But, customer service is supposed to be there for you when you have problems. We haven't got good experiences then.
Whenever we need assistance, our company rep is never around to answer on a timely basis. She has an auto reply to reach out to a general customer service number. People that never heard from you before can't always help and it take a really long time for them to find your account, understand the issues and so forth.
We had a huge billing crisis - misconnect between our system and theirs - with some serious backlash from our customers last week and I still haven't got answers from our customer representatives. We have reached to their general Customer Service number and spoke to several different people during the past week. We didn't feel confident with the answers we got. The automatic service and some of the people that talked to us couldn't even locate our account number to begin service.
Very disappointed. We are lobbying with our Franchisor to change providers. We never had an issue like that with our previous billing company.
Do not trust this Company!!! Sales man will promise you that they will get you out of your old contract but please trust me THEY DO NOT and once they have you signed and sealed they do not care what cancellation fees you may have to pay. I had to pay £850
Stay away from this company. Fees are outrages and rates are not very good. Pay close attention to any notification from them because it is either a fee going up or a new fee altogether like their annual renewal fee which is a complete ripoff.
Not a friendly company. They will do anything to take your money. I was very unhappy with their fees. Service was adequate like any other company. I would definitely not trust them.
