EXCELLENT COMPANY/PRODUCT

Ignore the negative reviews, in my opinion this was an excellent company to do business with. Order arrived within 4 business days and given the run up to black Friday this seems excellent. The vacuum cleaner works well, is light with a very good strong suction. Would definitely recommend.

UPDATE: 10 WEEKS AND STILL NOTHING - NO BRUSH HEAD, NO BRUSH...UNDER GUARANTEE AND THEY ARE LYING. I CAN ONLY ASSUME THEY ARE GOING BUST....

UPDATE: still nothing… 5 weeks and counting…

DONT BUY. Went wrong under warranty. Still waiting for a replacement part weeks later. Sent emails, videos and called. Customer service told me they are short staffed then they told me items not in stock. Really poor. They have the money to advertise but not to deal with customers. Go elsewhere.

Been trying to get a delivery date out of them since to no avail.
Emailed them again today to say if I don’t receive my order within the next few days I want a full refund!

Appallingly…. This is my second review for HALO…

This is my second review for HALO capsule. The most appalling service I’ve ever received in my life.
My roller brush broke under warranty and they were unable to send me one after two weeks and said they would send me a brush head instead as there were no brushes in stock. They didn’t tell me they also didn’t have a brush head. I have repeatedly called them, was told they had some in stock now and then suddenly they didn’t have any in stock and now I am five weeks without a working vacuum Customer Service don’t tell you whether something isn’t in stock, they also told me stock had arrived which showed on their website now I’m being told they didn’t have any stock arriving. Apparently they’re not allowed to have Phone conversations with the Warehouse and are only able to send emails. I’ve been told they would escalate now six times but none of this has ever been taken notice of.
Worst, I have been told that people are buying HALO capsules online and confirmed by CUSTOMER SERVICE * that the orders would not be able to be fulfilled because they had no brush heads. When I queried that they are actually taking money from people but are unable to fulfil the orders. The customer service person told me as if it was normal that they would wait for somebody to call to say it hadn’t arrived and then offer them a refund!! I was also told that I could use my vacuum by using the hose. At that point I had to tell her to stop speaking to me as if I was stupid and did she really expect me to walk around with the vacuum? Just using the hose on all my floors that haven’t been vacuumed for five weeks?
I also asked why it takes so long for them to have new brush heads in all rollers. She then told me as if she was very knowledgeable that a brush head is very difficult to make and can take a long time. I asked how were people able to order spare parts for all the other companies who used brush heads on their cordless vacuums straight away online and she said she couldn’t comment on that.
Do I like using my halo capsule. Yes will I ever buy another again no. Do I think they are cheating customers by taking their money and not being able to fulfil orders. Yes! I would stay away from this company as I cannot see how it will be able to continue in the end with this type of service.

I bought my Halo Capsule cordless…

I bought my Halo Capsule cordless vacuum cleaner in April 2022. On Saturday I charged the vacuum. There was a popping noise, and it tripped my switch. I sent an email, but no reply. I phoned today, and there are no parts and no repair service available. Not good enough.

Appalling customer service

I'd love to be sitting here writing a five star review of this cleaner, but I haven't received it yet nearly four weeks after ordering. I have sent 3 emails, unanswered, and hung on the phone several days running trying to speak to someone, but nobody ever answers. I want to cancel, but don't know how to get hold of someone to do this.
It has to be the worst customer service I've ever experienced.

Does not live up to the hype!

Product did not live up to the reviews I had read. Power of suction was substandard, unless on the maximum setting, which then means the battery dies very quickly. The interchangeable heads are easily damaged, the black paint chips away after only a few uses. The suction heads have rollers that don't roll when you use them, especially the Hard Floor attachment head.
Customer Service team in this company is pitiful. My emails were never responded/replied to. My message sent via their portal was never replied to. Waited over 30 minutes for someone to answer my call (a few times) when I used their telephone number. Had to call twice in order to get a return slip (label I had to print off to stick to returns package). Had to call twice to to get confirmation that my return had been agreed and that I would get my refund. Had to call twice to confirm that I my refund was coming to me.
It took one month to finally got my refund paid into my account.

Halo X not suitable for hard floors!!

Originally bought the Halo because of the Good housekeeping recommendations and the fact you could pay to have service including a new battery. This service was constantly out of stock and the vacuum gave up the ghost anyway! Customer service offered me an up grade( at additional cost )to a Halo x which seemed a good deal at the time. However this model is useless on hard floors (I have to use on full power to get any results, therefore cutting down usage time). I have since discovered you need to buy the hard floor attachment which will cost an additional £59.99!! A separate attachment for hard floors really should not be necessary! In my opinion this vacuum is really not fit for purpose. Persevered for nearly a year but have decided to go to a competitor.

I ordered October 22nd

I ordered October 22nd. Then an email saying delays. Phone continuously busy. Used contact form 3 times, emailed 6 times. No reply. No further update as of today 14th Nov. I cancelled the order a couple of days ago. Then suddenly, 2 days after that, DPD notified me of delivery, nothing from Halo telling me. I rejected the delivery.

If this is how they treat new customers I dread to think what aftersales must be like.

Absolutely no after sales service

I bought a vacuum 2 months ago and am not at all happy with it. It drags on the carpets and in2 months of using it on a 3 bedroomed property the bag is not even half full,so I asked myself if the dust is not in the bag it must surely still be in the carpet?so I hoovered the lounge with the halo and then emptied another vacuum I own with a transparent dust container and hoovered it again,and there was quite a lot of dust in the container!! I contacted the company to discuss this and all I got was how to use the cleaner and fault finding all of all of which I explained on the phone I had done already. I have e mailed them several times since and not had a single reply. This is the worst after sales service I have ever experienced ie none . I am £200 out of pocket and will now have to try and invoke my consumer rights via other means. DO NOT BUY THIS VACUUM.

Ordered a Halo stick vacuum 15 days…

Ordered a Halo stick vacuum 15 days ago. Phoned today to be told that they couldn’t say when delivery would be.
Thought about this and decided to cancel. Couldn’t speak to refunds department as customer services operative wouldn’t give out contact details. Was told that customer services would email refunds dept and they would contact them (why them and not me). Was told refund would take 7 to 14 days. Will believe this when I receive refund I to my bank.
Use this company at your own risk, I will go elsewhere for a different make of vacuum

Terrible customer service
Ordered a Halo vacuum cleaner on 15 Oct and still no sign of it. I have had no response from the three emails I’ve sent them asking what has happened.
Judging by the awful reviews I’ve read on trust pilot I am now wondering how to get the £100s of pounds they owe me.

Zero customer service

The product itself is working fine at the moment, so no issues with that.
My problem is i ordered a capsule with blue release buttons, two of the fittings came with dark grey buttons.
i have sent 4 emails to Halo, not one has been answered.
Customer service after sale is non existent.
Based on my experience would i buy again, NO.
vacuum is powerful, looks good, a touch bulky and heavier than others on the market, but it works.

Having bought the vacuum unable to register the guarantee! Have sent two e mails asking for help. Not even acknowledged receipt of my mail. How can they be happy when 47% of the reviews give 1 star. Terrible company.

Very poor service

Avoid this company if you want to stay sane they do not reply to emails so phoned a number they list on their website and got through fairly quick but the person asked how I contacted them and I said by the email that we are told to do so she gave me another number to ring but kept getting the message to hold on as they are very busy waited over half an hour so gave up I have emailed them again to see what happens next.
This is not the way to run a business it is downright rude but obviously they don’t care

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICES

Sadly I have the older model but what a great product. Pipe has split so tried to order the spare part....out of stock. Phoned to enquire when it will be back in and met with a bombardment of sales, buy this, buy that all at discount prices. I DON'T WANT A NEW ONE JUST THE REPLACEMENT! . Pushy and not at all helpful. Halo, you have just lost a customer.

I ordered spares for my capsule x on 16th Sept 2025, heard nothing since.
I have e mailed 3 times with no response.
Really don't know where to go from here, the payment was taken and order confirmation said I would hear again when items despatched. Absolutely nothing, customer services awful!!!
