Absolutely ridiculous payment policy regarding both payment methods and how they process them. They will not allow any form of debit mastercard nor prepaid card accounts like KOHO. The money gets put... See more

If you're buying a gpu do not buy their tech care replace.
Bad customer service and If you're buying a GPU DO NOT purchase their tech care replace plan.
Stick with the manufacturer's warranty and get an extended one, trust me you'll be saving a lot money.
I made a grave mistake by buying their 3-year tech care replace warranty. I bought a gigabyte 3080ti eagle 12gb GPU 2 years ago, at the time I didn't know the terms of the tech care replace because I bought in-store and the retail guy told me that If something happens to the GPU you can bring in to have it fixed or replaced and I was like cool. During that time I knew that many GPU manufacturers still honor the warranty even if you've opened the GPUs (EVGA, Gigabyte) as long as you didn't take any serials out, stickers or damage it. At that time It was my first time shopping at CC and I thought that they would honor their warranty the same way as the manufacturers would for their GPUs. The GPU I bought didn't have any stickers in one of its screws so I thought that Its fine to open the GPU. it only has the serial sticker and a bar code inside the GPU in which I didn't touch. I did some maintenance on it as soon as I bought the GPU such as changing thermal pads and paste and it has been working for 2 years straight with better thermals than a stock one. A few days ago, I was playing VR until my computer suddenly shuts down and when I try to turn it on again there weren't any display output. The GPU itself was still working though (fans and lights still work) but there were no signs of any display output. I went to Canada Computer to hopefully use the warranty and they told me they'd diagnose it and I'll have to come back the next day. The next day comes and when I went back to pick it up they've told me that I was denied of warranty because I took the manufacturer's sticker out (I took none out). I told them about how there were no stickers that I took out, they still denied the warranty. Heck, they wouldn't even fix it even If I were to pay for it. Apparently "There's nothing we can do" says the repair guy. I was lucky that the GPU still has manufacturer's warranty so I shipped it to gigabyte and they approved my RMA. They are currently fixing it as we speak. In conclusion, If you buy a GPU from CC don't buy their tech care replace as you will be disappointed. They will find a way to invalidate your warranty at all cost. Take a look at EVGA they happen to have the best warranty policy because your warranty will still be valid even if you open the GPU and modify it as long as you didn't damage the GPU itself. It's a shame they're gone, I only wish for other companies to follow EVGA's footsteps. I've lost 300$+ for a warranty that I could never use, Its like giving them money for free and it's not even for charity.
I bought for 1700$ of pc components
I bought for 1700$ of pc components and a pc case. The case arrived broken and I opened a ticket . They responded in a day and the guy I was talking to was clear for what steps to do and understand the situation.
Worst customer service ever
Worst customer service ever. Bought a top of the line desktop computer for my son at Christmas. Had to bring in the monitor twice and the hard drive once. The monitor has a crack and they will not replace it. I have to deal with the manufacturer.
Ill never do business with them again
DO NOT WALK AWAY BUT RUN
Purchased a laptop from the Mississauga location, along with it my hard drive from my old computer. Was told that to transfer the files was easy. It never worked. I was at the store and requested help, they claim that I must have bought the computer at Best Buy, Yet I have a transaction receipt on my credit card statement.
Called head office...they took the information and cannot guarantee that anyone will call me back to fix my problem. Escalating this to the next level THE GARBAGE CAN. $1,000 well spent

cancelled my order but not refunding the money. they stated that they never recieve any money from me. but the bank told me the trasction was made.
Unprofessional company
Purchased a laptop with that came with a free game code on my receipt. When the code did not work, their customer service was awful and they refused to provide me with what I paid for. (I was told I bought a laptop that came with a game, and they gave me a code that was invalid) Not the first time I’ve had a bad experience with CC. Very unprofessional and poor company. Take your computer needs elsewhere.
I purchased a new laptop and was having…
I purchased a new laptop and was having difficulties with my printer working on it. I took it in and Tadd helped me out and discovered a program I was using on a trial basis was for some reason not allowing my printer to work. He uninstalled that program (which was difficult and took some time). My printer has bee working great. Thank you so much for your help.
Took time to chat and figure out my "wants and needs"
I just got a laptop from the Vancouver/Grandview location. I ordered it online ("open box"), wasn't required to pay up front, rec'd an email they were "working on my order" then a second email when it was ready for pickup. When I went in, I decided I would poke around and have a look, still considering maybe a desktop so thought I would check out prices. I was approached by Vanessa, we talked, I gave her a budget and she wrote up a quote keeping as close to my budget at she could while still offering a good deal. In the end, I went with the portability of the laptop (I have very long work days, so this is easier to bring with me) and the budget I had set. The prices for what I got was more than competitive. I did buy the added insurance to be safe, but I really appreciated the time she took to chat and respect my decision without any pressure. I haven't had the laptop long, but so far, I haven't had any indication that there could be issues.

We just went into our CC store in Oakville Ontario. RJ. P was very helpful, informative, and managed our laptop back to life. Thanks!
Worst Experience
Purchased 1800$ worth of product on December 30th. Received confirmation email on January 3rd my order was shipped. It was shipped via Canada Post, there has been no scan whatsover on the tracking since than not even a pickup scan only label created and we are now January 26th. I've contacted customer service multiple times. All they would do is say they are looking into it or have escalated my case to upper management. When I finally got fed up and asked for them to recall the shipment and issue me a refund so I could purchase my parts elsewhere. They ignored my request and when I said I'd file a credit card chargeback they basically said go ahead and from this point forward to stop contacting them and deal with my credit card company. Absolutely the worst experience i've ever had with a company.
Worst Customer Service
Bought a bunch of stuff last night including a decent MSI motherboard. They only had an open box version and knocked $20 off the price. They then held the unit in front of me and said everything OK? Of course what problems could I see in motherboard. The store person then recommended I buy the insurance for the board which set my mind at rest believing that if there were issues it was now protected. NOPE. Turned out when we got home that there were a few loose CPU slot pins not to mention the M.2 slot cover which wasn't even in the box. They refused to do anything the next day other than offering to return my $48 insurance payment. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I make stuff that gets used in major films and video games world wide and I know all about good customer service. There are loads of other sources for this tech and save yourself an ulcer by buying elsewhere.
BUYER BEWARE!
Orders $1600 worth of product December 28th.
I immediately get charged and the payment processes successfully.
5 days later I still don't have an invoice or an update on my order, just says "Processing".
Open a ticket, no reply.
Call customer service, been waiting in queue 1 hour and still no answer.
Will be filing a dispute with credit card company.
DO NOT SHOP HERE. Worse than awful service.
Worst customer service ever at Bayers…
Worst customer service ever at Bayers Lake Location . Called with a small issue regarding a defective gaming chair after spending thousands of dollars there on various items and was told there is no warranty on the chairs , and none with the manufacturer and no manager would even come to the phone or provide any information.
Lesson learned never to shop there again .
Came into the Dollard des Ormeaux…
Came into the Dollard des Ormeaux (Montreal, Quebec) location to have an exchange of product due to a defective cable after a short time of use. Even an exchange of the cable alone would have been a possible outcome. It was still covered by a one year, in store warranty. BUT no, they wanted nothing to do with an exchange. They actually made a BIG issue out of a $23 dollar item ($10 cable) and this was the manager. I walked out of the store.
A few days earlier, Boxing day, the store was to be open until 8pm. Needless to say, it closed much earlier; leaving many of us unable to pursue the Boxing day sales.
Worst service ever, worst manager too. The store should be closed and the manager released from service.
It was awesome and everyone was friendly
Actually very good
Actually very good
I was a little unsure given some bad reviews however honestly Canada Computers has been absolutely awesome there prices are comparable if not better than buying from Amazon the offer service amazon doesn't and if you are building your own computer they will double check to make sure there isn't anything that won't work
There 14 day return policy is true and they offer an in store warranty on most items ( normally at a small additional cost)
My only minor issue with them is unless you are techy you might not fully understand them I am quite techy so that's not a problem for me however I have family who this can be an issue
Otherwise I would actually recommend Canada computers and coming from me that's saying something
Visit to Canada Computers' Brampton location
During a recent visit to Barrie, I purchased a computer at Canada Computers' Barrie location following reassurance I could take it to my local Brampton store on West Drive for assistance. Due to my lack of knowledge with technical issues, I visited the Brampton location and was so impressed with staff in the service dept. Blair spent an inordinate amount of time ensuring that everything was installed and working okay, explaining as he went along and answering my many questions.
They carry a large selection of all electronics and related supplies and I encourage you to visit the store when in the market.
Broken Headset wont Replace
I bought a headset at this location and the left earphone stopped working days after purchase after failing sort of off and on. At the time of purchase I was informed that they would not take the headphones back just because I wasn't happy with them for sanitary reasons which seems reasonable, but I'm not sure how standard this practice is so just be aware. I went to the store to try to return the headphones and they plugged them in to a computer at the store and they seemed to work fine. They refused to exchange the headphones for another pair and sent me home. I returned home and tried the headphones again and they still do not work. I tried the headphones on a separate computer, a brand new laptop also purchased at Canada Computers and the left earphone still doesnt work. I called them and asked again if they would replace them after explaining that I tried them on a separate computer and they still refused. Canada Computers is not a "the customer is always right" kind of business, they are the kind of business that will screw you over if it can save them 100 dollars. Canada Computers believes that I am either stupid or lying to them and now I am stuck with a 115 dollar piece of E-Waste.
Canada Computers customer service department does not care!
Placed order to be picked up at Canada computers store closest to my home, got message one item out of stock. Sent in reply asking when back in stock would I get for sale price. Got BS answer, then I mentioned another store had stock and could they send one to fulfill my order. Got told I would have to contact both stores asking them to do it. Advised that should be customer services job and the reply shocked me from Canada Computers customer representative. It was "I'm not your personal assistant nor your servant." What a reply to get. I enjoy shopping at Canada Computers and this has shocked me. I went to my store and they were not surprized by response and to deal with store which made me feel better about shopping there.
I had an issue with my laptop charger
I had an issue with my laptop charger. I brought it in and the sales person showed me a replacement that worked. He then tried to fix my old charger and with two minutes he had it fixed. Thanks for saving me some money Canada Computers. Excellent service.
