He manages to maintain a professional approach to his work whilst also being able to interact like a friend.

Ricky Broomfield is my account manager at business mobiles. I would highly recommend his services. Always prompt with replies and support. Has saved us a considerable amount of money with lovely customer service.

"Joined" businessmobiles at the end of September ... It is now the begining of January & so far, the experience has not been good ....

Firstly, I joined with an offer of 1 months free line rental. After filling out the application form & proofs of id etc., someone came back to let me know that it had been accepted & also said that my first mont's line rental would be charged from the operator, but that it would be businessmobiles that credited my account ... no issues with that.

I was advised that my new SIM had been activated & sent out in the post (why would you send a live SIM card out i the post?!?!?) ... it had been sent by a courier, who experienced an "unexpected delay" in the delivery of it ... which in itself was going to cause an issue in transferring my number over, but that's a different story ... the "unexpected delay" took an additional 5 days to resolve, so I finally got the active SIM card that i was paying for nearly a week late.
I spoke to businessmobiles to complain about the fact that I was paying for the SIM / phone service, but wasn't able to use it as i hadn't even received my SIM yet. The response was that I was getting a month's free line rental, so it didn't matter ...
As I wasn't happy with that response, I had to escalate the issue & a manager eventually agreed to credit me for an extra 4 or 5 days line rental due to the delay. That was fine as a resolution for me - i wasn't asking for anything more than that. I didn't pick the courier, i didn't lose the SIM card (**Sorry, "unexpectedly delay" the SIM card in transit) - all i wanted was NOT to have to pay for what I wasn't getting, which seemed perfectly fair & reasonable to me.

The next issue I encountered was a network service issue. Not businessmobiles fault, but when i called the mobile network up to report the issue, they wouldn't speak to me at all, as I wasn't the named person on the account ... Very suspicious, as that had all been set up by businessmobiles ... I messaged them to raise the issue & asked for a dedicated out of hours point of contact if they wanted network issues reported through themselves, as they only cover business hours ... they said they would investigate the issue for me & raised a ticket ... that was 04/11/2025 ...

It is now 07/01/2026. Despite me chasing them, I have still not had a response or update from them to confirm that I am now the named contact on my own business account with the mobile network & I have received NO credits from them as promised when taking out the mobile contract.

I accept that my contract is not a high value one, but that does not mean that I am not entitled to a level of service from businessmobiles, as a customer of theirs - a level of service which seems to be non-existant!

Sooner or later there will be a network issue & as i am unable to speak to the network & as businessmobiles do not deliver on their promises or resolve issues or deal with anything out of hours or in a timely manner (based on my experiences with them in just 3 months); that will impact my business & leave me unable to trade, until they pull their fingers out & decided to deal with the issue, which I am not willing rely on & gamble my business future on!

For other individual or business users looking at these reviews, I do not recommend them based on my (verifiable) experiences & if you are thinking of using them, I would advise you save yourself the headache & search a little more on the internet & find another business mobile / SIM provider, as they seem to be unable to service the customers that they already have.

Applied online.. verified myself using my Passport. Then received a call to say I needed to verify myself by giving the lady over the telephone my long card number.. expiry and my cvc. Ended the call right there. Never known anyone to ask for such details over a telephone call. There was no other way as far as they were concerned so my order would be cancelled if I did not give her these details on the call.

Very misleading and prices higher than quoted. Prices quoted are after cashback but zero mention of this at the time of order. Cashback is ex VAT so if you aren't VAT registered, the effective price is higher as you pay VAT on the full contract price, not the "discounted" price. Designed entirely to lure you in and hope you won't notice. I don't like companies that do business like this.

I’ve been with businessmobiles.com for over 4 year now and Ricky Broomfield was my account manager so what ever I need regarding phones sims tables he’s the guy and he does his job extremely well I would recommend anyone plus he will find the best deal or deals that will suit you.
