Absolutely shocking, the automated system kept asking me over and over for my date of birth despite me entering it. It then says please hold while we put you through to advisor, wait about 10 minutes and it says... "goodbye" and hangs up om me ???
I then go to the Web address on the letter which doesn't appear to exist. Then I read all these bad reviews saying possible scammers so.... im not paying them as I can't get through and now don't trust them to be genuine either.

This company send me SMS with case reference number and asking to contact them! SCAMMERS!!!

Had a text message and numerous emails sent asking me to call them on 01413750900 quoting a reference number,but only addressed me as Dear Sir/Madam.Not going to as in the past if I've had debt collectors trying to get in touch,they've actually addressed me by my name.For all I know this is a scam,and would be a waste of time as I'm not giving my personal details to them!

Contacted by text about a debt that was passed onto them. They deducted £100 from what I owed and I was able to sort this without having to speak to anyone on the phone. (I'm autistic so that is very hard for me). Easy to pay and account closed.

Absolutely shocking company and I will now be reporting them to the ombudsman. It has taken them 6 weeks to send out a letter and I still haven’t received it. They have told me 4 times a letter has been sent and I’ve even spoken to two managers who’ve also said the same and no letter has arrived. The only letter I have received has all the wrong information on. They are now holding up my house sale !!!!!

Received email saying I owe £123 for Sky Equipment not returned. SKY say they haven't received it, but fortunately I have the proof of receipt by SKY. SKY won't speak to me now and say I have to contact BPO, but NO-ONE AT BPO EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE if you select the "dispute" option. Gave up after 18 minutes on Friday, 25 minutes on Monday and 28 minutes today. Shambles of a company for customer service.

To actually to speak someone you need to hand over your postcode, dob and other personal data.

The question is would you have over your personal data to a random text or letter?

That's like going onto a street with a microphone and give the world your personal data....

Random letter received saying I owe money to department for work and pensions. I certainly do not owe any money so I can only assume these are scammers.

I have had a letter coming through saying I owe a debt of £28.26 for department for work and pensions balance but I have never been contacted before about any debt and I haven’t ever been in debt before I’m confused if this is a fake company or not but I’m worried if I don’t pay it I’m going to end up with a hefty fine, contact line is impossible to get though to and they never reply to emails answering any questions I think this is a scam company

No response to phone calls or emails. Sent me letter out of the blue saying another company called Lanturn had bought a quickquid debt from over 10 years ago and they were chasing. No response, no justification , no evidence provided by Lanturn or BPO collections.

Won’t answer the phone unless it’s the payment bit, won’t return emails, just a generic one pretending they will, scum just want money even though a mistake was made by virgin media to put this mob onto me , only need them to tell me the problem has been resolved but seems to hard for them to do

No record of my debt possibly because it’s now toxic??? Question: my debts under £500 - no record of my client file neither?? Can’t get past security/ I have nothing against the person who answered my call. How is this possible????? May I suggest avoiding dealing with this company at all costs because some people want to pay their debts. There’s honest people in the world…..

Debt letters started to appear for a small amount that I supposedly owed Racing TV (There is another story)

I was assured by Racing TV they would contact BPO but collection letters continued.

Email acknowledgements appear from uncontactable email addresses which leads me to believe this is a collective of individuals who buy debts and chase them under the name of BPO.

my advice would be to challenge everything and if necessary employ solicitors.

They are chasing up a debt from 11 years ago. The first time in 11 years I have heard about this debt. When I proved to them that I took the original company to court and the court said I had paid the debt so didn't owe anything they investigated and said no it was wrong. I owed the money.

The original company passed my details onto another company and the other company passed my details onto BPO Collections.

My Solicitor is on the case and will be taking the two companies to court for Defamation of Character and BPO Collections for Financial Harrassment.

Seems like a big scam to me. I paid the settlement amount. Still want more money and still keep texting me asking me to contact them and give them money. Avoid at all costs. Do not respond to these scammers. Awful company

Just wanted to say thank you for taking my call and understanding my current situation. It was refreshing to speak to a company that is unfortunate to be tainted by the term "Debt Collector".
I appreciate the advice given and hopefully, when things are slightly better we are all appreciative of the people we have had the privilege of speaking to, even if the topic was about "owed debt", it felt as easy to talk about as a conversation with any other person you felt was worthy of trust.

SCAMMERS, Had them come to my door claming it I never paid my debt owed to o2 they will take things away, obviously they can't do that without court orders so got told to f××k off. DONT REPLY OR TALK TO THESE LIARS AND SCAMMERS

SCAM GOT A LETTER FROM THEM SAYING I OWE SCOTTISH GAS MONEY , I DONT, I HAVE PREPAYMENT METER AND I HAVE SEEN SAME REVIEWS FROM OTHERS, REPORT THIS COMPANY IF THEY BOTHER YOU.
