The adapters came as specified. The delivery options were rather expensive for anytime within 2 weeks though.

I bought a replacement for my broken bluray remote control. The new one didn't work. Hence the one star review. Bombay electronics contacted me and asked for a picture of my original remote. They sent a replacement based on the picture, which just arrived and works perfectly! I thought customer service of this quality was dead in the world. When I upgrade, it'll be with Bombay Electronics! PS I'm returning the "wrong" remote. I'm very pleased at this point! Thank you!

The DVD player arrived quickly, and works well with movies from European origin

great shopping experiance

When we returned to the US after living in Europe, we wanted to keep our TV and our region hacked DVD player. The TV because it was good quality and the DVD player because it is the only way we have to watch our European DVD's and it is hacked to show US DVD's as well.
So we purchase a 120v to 250v converter from Bombay Electronics after looking around the options on the internet. The unit came quickly, it was of excellent design and quality. Easy to use and has been behind our TV working away for the past 5 years without any issues. The power is clean and the TV and DVD player work perfectly while plugged into our converter.

Good quality

I ordered a box of universal plug converters from the Bombay Electronics website, but when they arrived they were black, when the photos on the website showed white and there was no option for colour selection.
However, when I queried this, Bombay Electronics immediately offered to send out the white ones. I indicated that I'd be happy to return the black ones, but only at their expense. They declined - saying 'Keep them - it would cost more to ship them back.'
So, very good service in my one and only experience with these people.

I had a technical issue with the Blu-Ray player some time after I bought it, and the guys at Bombay very quickly helped me resolve it. I'm very happy with their service.

I purchased a region-free Blu-ray player from Bombay Electronics in January of 2013, the BDP-M2. The player is now 3.5 years old and does exactly what I want it to do (play 1080i50 region locked UK Blu-ray discs) and of my three Blu-ray playback devices is the only one that plays mkv files without stuttering.

The initial order went through without a hitch, no bait and switch BS that some shady online retailers are pretty famous for, fast shipping and item packaed in original retailer packaging.

I have contacted Bombay Electronics three times for support over the past three years, most recently a couple months ago to verify I had the most up-to-date firmware. Turnaround time was very fast, within one business day each time, and the instructions I received were informative and helpful. Although I've only ordered one item from Bombay Electronics, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and would order from again.

I bought two players from them, a DVD and a blu ray. Fast shipment. The players worked very well for a while, and suddenly some kind of files did not work anymore. When I contacted them to make an inquiry, they never responded. There are more options available.

It was a good service overall and hassle free.
