There are many options on your website, and I was able to find an apartment very quickly. However, the options are generally quite expensive.

The app is great, to be honest, I have no complaints about the website and how it functions. It's aggressive with notifications/emails by defaut, however I think that's actually necessary in Copenha... See more

I actually started to have a good experience on Boligportal. I got the longer contract (two months) and tried to cancel right away on the English page. I did not receive a confirmation mail or anything but I was not worried.
Today, they renewed may contract for two more months... When cancelling on the Danish version, I got the confirmation via E-Mail. Seems very sketchy. Additionally, EU law only permits the renewal of maximum one month after the first period.
For customers with similar experience, help can be found at forbrug, which is the Danish agency responsible.

Worst experience using this platform as a student looking for accommodation.
By default, they automatically charge your account when you buy a 24H subscription unless you change the subscription settings on your profile. They refuse any help or refund, even for an immediate cancellation request after auto-charges for the subscription. I will never get back and trust them.

Scam
I was charged for an automatic renewal without any prior reminder.
I deactivated my subscription within the specified date, and I emphasize within the specified date, but they automatically renewed it because a few minutes had passed.
Despite this, the company refused to provide any refund.
This feels unfeirs.

Overall a good option for finding houses in Denmark.

Scammers do exist on the site, and I came across one when I was moving in Copenhagen years ago; I understood he was a scammer, and he got kicked out a few days later.
But overall, the vast majority of announcements are legit, and you just need common sense.

App is easy to use and offers a good way to find rooms/ apartments.

Terrible website. I signed up for the 1-day subscription to connect with someone offering a sublet. I did not notice that their policy implies that if you do not cancel within that day, the next day you are charged with their monthly subscription (VERY EXPENSIVE!). Although I understand this is stated in their terms and conditions, I believe is normal for similar websites to do a reimbursement if it is clear that this is not what you intended. I reached out, explained the situation, but they were not willing to provide a reimbursement. I think this is one of the worst customer services I come across. Please be aware that they will take your money!! Use alternative websites.

Helped me connect with my landlord, and once we agreed to sign the paperwork online in an easy way

SCAM - they scam customers with their dishonest auto renewal process. STAY AWAY from them. There are much better options.

This is my second time finding a tenant for my apartment in Copenhagen, process is really easy, transparent and efficient.
Always recommend this app for anyone seeking or renting out.

I was charged for an automatic renewal without any prior reminder.
I noticed the charge immediately and had not used the service at all after the renewal.
Despite this, the company refused to provide any refund and insisted on strict terms.
This feels unfair, especially for a service that was not used at all.
Be careful with the subscription and make sure to cancel in advance.

Very simple and efficient process for renting out our apartment. We posted our apartment and it was rented out in less than 2 weeks. Support tools like contract and check lists are available

I can not comment on the service, however, i must say that the landlords did from 6 messages I sent to landlords, only one replied, albeit with a negative reply. I believe the system would be improved if the client (me) could have at least visual feedback as to whether the messsage has been received/read by the landlord, so that the client does not hang around needlessly waiting for a reply that will never arrive. it would be ideal to safeguard the needs of the potential tenants in this way.

I did not find BoligPortal to be a good option for finding an apartment. Many listings were posted by private landlords who never responded. A large number of ads were also from companies that redirected users to their own websites for further searching. Overall, it was a poor experience and a waste of money. I would not recommend using BoligPortal.

I bought access to BoligPortal and selected 2 months because it was cheaper than the monthly option. I understood this as a fixed access period. Later I discovered that it was actually a recurring subscription that renews automatically every 2 months.
I cancelled the subscription immediately when I noticed the payment and contacted support to ask for a refund. Unfortunately the company refused to refund the payment.
I have now contacted my bank and filed a complaint to the Danish Consumer Ombudsman because I believe the way the subscription is presented can easily be misunderstood.
Answer to their response here: I can see on Trustpilot that many other users had exactly the same experience as I did. Many people also thought they were buying access for a fixed period and later discovered that it was actually a recurring subscription. Some of them are students like me and asked for a refund, but the company refused.
If so many people misunderstand the same thing, then the information in the sign-up process is clearly not as clear as you claim. When many customers make the same mistake, it usually means the way the subscription is presented is confusing.
From a legal point of view you may say that the information exists somewhere in the process, but in practice many users still understand it as a fixed access period. That is exactly what happened to me.
I cancelled the subscription immediately when I noticed the payment. I still believe it would be fair to refund the payment in this situation, especially when it concerns students with very limited budgets.
Right now the impression is that the company prefers to keep the money rather than help customers who clearly misunderstood the subscription model.
