The event did not take place
The event did not take place, but I received no cancellation notice.
I arrived at the venue at the scheduled time, only to find that the space was occupied by a private Christmas party. There was no host, no signage, and no indication that the speed dating event was running.
I did not receive any email or message informing me of a cancellation or venue change before arriving. This was disappointing and poorly communicated.

Unpleasant buying exprience
After making a purchase and receiving the ticket the company asks for my personal information (address, email, phone number, etc.) that I have no intention to leave to billetto. The day after I receive an email where billetto repeats asks for my info again. There is no info if this info goes to billetto or to the event organizer. When buying a ticket the company also tries to charge for numerous extra services. An insurance for not being able to participate I feel is alright to try to sell, but the other crap feels just wrong to try to charge. Not at all a pleasant buying experience altough I did get my ticket.

Regarding the personal information you were asked to provide (address, phone number etc.):
This is not Billetto requesting your details.
These fields are set up by the event organiser, and we only display the information they choose to collect for their event.
The follow-up email you received asking for information again is also triggered by the organiser’s settings, not by Billetto as a platform.
About the additional options during checkout:
The ticket insurance is offered as an optional product by an external insurance partner.
The service fee goes to Billetto and covers the running of the platform and customer support.
Organisers can also add their own optional extras (such as merchandise, donations, or add-on services), and these may appear during checkout — but none of them are required to complete the purchase.
I’m glad you received your ticket, but I absolutely take your feedback seriously — the buying experience should always feel transparent and straightforward. If there’s anything else I can help with, just let me know 🌷

I have purchased tickets for bonfire event. The organiser decided to use billetto service. I looked up all ticket options and made my choice. Went to checkout and paid. Aaaaaand ... surprise, surprise! Additional amount was added to final charge without previous warning. How not nice it is?

Tickets "from 250SEK", became 480SEK.
Tickets "from" 250sek,, "sold out", now we have them for 350sek - soldout,,, and last offer "450sek". Then the rest of the information is very shady written, agree to everything or else you might be in trouble. Extra charges everywhere, I choose NOT to have any extra addons with those charges,, still the totalt became 480SEK. So they managed to nearly double the price of the tickets!. Beware!

The pricing displayed on the event page is managed by the organiser, who sets both the price levels and the available ticket categories. When a specific category is sold out, the next available price level will be shown, which may mean the price changes during the process if the lowest-priced tickets have already sold out.
All fees and optional add-ons are clearly displayed during checkout, and you must select yes or no to any extras yourself. If the total ended up being higher than expected, we are more than happy to review your order and make sure everything is correct.

Very limited payment methods
Experience is othervise ok, but there is very limited payment options. Either credit card (physical, so that you can type the numbers) or Paypsl that is not widely used in Finland. As I ordered the tickets while commuting and I don't carry physical cards with me and I'm not in PayPal, I could not proceed with order first. I would wish normal digital account payment would be option as it is standard in Finland. Additionally more Used in Finland mobile osyment methods like Apple Pay, Mobile Pay and Siirto would be nice alternatives or at least one of them.

The order process is easy and understandable, the ticket was received quickly in my mail box. The only thing that bothered me are the expensive fee - I don't understand why an automatic process should cost me such fee.
