I don't usually write reviews, but I just had to this time. Not only is the Pile of Loot a fantastic idea that saved me a lot on shipping (super important as I'm an international customer - UK), the customer service was brilliant. My DHL tracking number wasn't working, but when I contacted BBTS they basically did a proper investigation, explained to me what was going on and gave me a number that worked as well as some useful links (they also only took a day to respond). My parcel arrived within a week of dispatch and everything was super well packed, especially the collector's grade nendoroid. Anyway, I'm so happy to have found a US store that works so well for me as an international customer! Here's to hoping my future experiences are just as good. - M

Superb customer service, incredibly easy and pleasant to deal with, and helped me figure out an issue with great ease. If anything goes wrong, please know that you're in great hands. Not it will or that this is something that happens often, but it's great to know that if anything does go awry. Phenomenal overall.

I urge anyone and everyone to never order from this company and to report them and get them sued as I will be doing so myself. It has been months since I had ordered a extremely expensive parcel for my nephew’s birthday who is currently battling cancer and was given the same petty excuse again and again and again and nothing was done about it. I will be in contact with as many people with similar experiences and will put together a law suit against this company and would urge others to do the same.

Just picked up some baseball pops from here last month and they arrived without issue and in great condition. Thank you!

They are okey overall but their packaging ist super bad (so little filling everything falls around inside) don't buy if the Box condition ist Important to you

Attention international buyers! If something doesn't arrive, DHL doesn't notify you or similar, you'll be held out until you can't repeat the money! If you then get your money back via Paypal, the account is blocked and everything is gone, money, items in the pile of loot, everything. Be careful here!

We pre-ordered a life size doll from BBTS 3 years ago as all the UK stores stopped pre-sale. We were a bit nervous after paying the initial deposit as we had read some of the reviews on trust pilot giving negative reviews about pre-orders but we wish we never worried! BBTS are amazing and we would 100% be ordering from them again. Shipping to UK was $200 which is a little expensive but we didn’t get charged any extra cost when the item was delivered to us. The item arrived quickly after full payment and no damage whatsoever. Full tracking was provided as well.
The customer service agents were very responsive when we had a question or any concerns. 3 years was worth the wait (not BBTS fault)!

Well, being an international buyer from India its very hard to make choices from which website you gonna buy. But, I am happy with the good services provided by Big Bad Toy Store. Their pile of loot feature is the best. They have most of the time updated list of new releases and pre order items.
Would ask others to go for it.

So happy with this store. I'd had a bad experience with a local supplier in Australia and had to involve Queensland Fair Trade authorities to get my money back. I hesitantly decided to give BBTS in the US a go and am so glad I did. I accidentally purchased some items using a credit card I didn't want to use, and they happily took my call from Australia and promptly cancelled the order at my request, and without fuss. I resubmitted my order a few days later (this time using the right card LOL) and sat back patiently, hoping my order would make it here. Which it did today. And I was able to track it the entire time through being packed, dispatched, clearing US customs, landing in Australia and clearing our customs, being picked up by the local carrier for transfer from Sydney to Melbourne, then across town to me this morning. All the way from SF in the USA, to Melbourne, Australia in about 10 days. I'm so happy. Will definitely order from them again. We'll done, BBTS. You guys rock! Hope to see you one day open a store in Australia. 😁

Pre-ordered a Wandering Planet toys ‘The Prisoner’ figure set. It came into stock on time and was posted out on 19 January 23. It arrived in the UK on 26 January. Excellent product and excellent service. Recommended, even with UK taxes.

International order

I ordered a Black Series and put it in the Pile of Loot as another black series was supposedly coming in stock soon (never did) after the 3 months expired so had to ship the item. The item was claimed to have been delivered to me on the 29th of December. What actually happened was it was returned to sender on that date. I didn't get informed of this and assumed it was Royal Mail's fault. Royal mail after two weeks informed me it was returned to sender. This was not known until today. I did email BBTS and they said as it was after 5 days and it was supposedly delivered they would refund me store credit I was not overly happy as I couldn't reorder my figure but thought it wasn't there fault. When I found out today that they had got it back nearly a month ago.

Update : Promised to send replacement. I'll update when arrived

Update : It arrived after nearly 3 months but have it now so that's good.

I ordered an item to collect. The item arrived with minor damage. I contacted support and provided them with the pictures of the issues and they had no issues understanding what my issue was and why it was an issue. I have the utmost respect for the customer service they provided me which was A+ service. Very understanding and will definately without hesitation do business with them again in the present and future.
