The process to book was simple and our gutter cleaner, Zenon, arrived on time. He was polite and professional and carried out the necessary work efficiently. Immediately following this our gutters started flowing much better and there was no further overflow during heavy rain. Thank you.

Although your employee arrived later than expected. He did ring to advise me of this. He got straight on with the job in hand and made great progress. I am highly satisfied with the work. The employee didn’t tell us when he was leaving, but that was probably due to the fact I was and still am on crutches and I don’t think he wanted to disturb me again.

The service was completed to a high standard and in a timely matter. Einars was the gutter cleaner for my property and I am very happy. Please thank him for me as I was also out at the time the service was completed. I did speak to him on my ring doorbell :)

We contacted Ben’s gutters to enquire as to whether they could help with a possible adjustment/repair to a gutter (we’re unsure about the problem which is why we were enquiring to get a professional out). The chap in sales on the phone was very happy to book us in for this - he advised he would book us for a gutter clearing, but that this would cover someone coming out, checking whether a blockage was causing the problem, and adjusting the gutter if needed or advising on anything else needed. We were charged an upfront fee of £85, and advised this should cover any work needed, with additional cost incurred if any parts were required.

When the person came out to us from Ben’s gutters we explained the problem again, showed videos of the gutter overflowing etc. - they said okay I’ll go up and take a look. Between 5 and 10 minutes later we looked out of the window and they had left, without any communication with us. They had marked on the notes on our account that the gutters were clear and a clearing wasn’t needed and left.

We have now called Ben’s gutters 3 times and been passed from pillar to post, promised call backs that have never come. When I have been able to speak to someone today they have advised that we are not able to have our money refunded until they have done their own ‘investigation’ into what has happened, but they have advised that they only do gutter cleaning and not repairs - and we shouldn’t have been misled otherwise. When I questioned how they could defend us even being charged for a gutter clean when their colleague was only at our home for 5 minutes and didn’t clean anything, they advised that their staff are very skilled - whatever that means.

We are now £85 out of pocket and having to get another company to come out to repair our gutter at additional cost. But we did get the privilege of someone from Ben’s Gutters coming out to our house for aprox. 7 minutes, taking a picture of our gutter and leaving for that low price. Thanks Ben’s Gutters 👍

To add - we’ve now been offered a £25 refund, as apparently they believe the above ‘work’ was worth £60. The person who finally called us back after days of waiting was only able to offer a £25 refund - so we once again wait for it to be ‘escalated’. This is weird because when I called on Monday I was told it would already be sent straight to a manager who would listen back to the calls to confirm that what we were saying was true. Apparently they decided not to bother and just fob us off with £25. This is a legit horrible company.
