Barracudas Activity Day Camps Reviews 

We’ve had two children attend Barracudas Huntingdon, and we honestly couldn’t recommend it highly enough. One of our children has just returned for their fourth summer, while our other child has only recently started — and they’ve both loved it.

They’re huge fans of the swimming sessions, absolutely love the staff and really enjoy the venue. They always come home exhausted, smiling and full of stories about what they’ve been doing, which says everything!

The biggest hits this year have been Dance Fusion and Discovery Squad, which they’ve particularly loved.

It’s brilliant knowing they’re having such a fun, active and varied day while being well looked after. The staff are fantastic and the whole experience has been consistently excellent.

A big thumbs up from us — we’ll definitely be back and would recommend Barracudas Huntingdon to anyone looking for a great holiday club!

Our son had such a great week at Barracudas and I honestly can’t recommend it enough.

He was really nervous on his first day, so we weren’t sure how he’d get on. But when I picked him up that afternoon, the first thing he said was that it “was the best camp he’d ever been to!” From then on, he couldn’t wait to go back every morning.

The variety of activities has been brilliant. He loved Motor Mania, badminton, basketball and dodgeball, but I also love that even the simpler things, like playing games with balloons, kept him entertained and having fun. Every day he came home excited to tell us what he’d been up to.

A huge thank you to all the staff at the Trinity (Croydon) site too - especially Abi his group leader. They’ve all been so friendly, welcoming and great with the kids. They made such a difference in helping him settle in and enjoy himself, and I really can’t thank them enough.

We’ll definitely be booking again. If you’ve got a child who’s a bit nervous or you’re wondering whether it’s worth it, I’d absolutely say give it a go!

Huntingdon team have been amazing inclusive kind and supportive all of my kids have loved it despite the range of ages and needs!

My 6yr old and past 11yr old loves it at Huntingdon Camp. The leader are very interactive and nice ( especially Mel ). With lots of activities to do my daughter never gets bored and always leaves with a big smile on her face. Thanks team Huntingdon keep up the work

The watford branch was awesome, my daughter was very nervous at the start but they made her feel welcome and during the 2 weeks she had fun and enjoyed her time there.

My three kids thoroughly enjoyed their time at a week of the camp. The staff were great and the activities were so good.

Really great staff, at the Watford camp, very kind and always there to help when asked. Particular shout out to Chane and Dean (best group leader ever)!!

The venue is very convenient and the drop-off and collection times work really well for us. We much prefer the Watford venue, and the staff there are always so friendly and welcoming. It’s lovely to see such friendly faces!

The team at Watford are amazing. So many fun and varied activities to do and my son has a great time here. Will definitely be back next year!

My boys have been to a few camps in the school holidays and they said this was definitely the best one. They could not wait to return and liked the fact that there was a timetable and could choose from two options. My children wanted to be together and this was accommodated. They loved trying fencing and I think it’s great that the club offers different and exciting activities. Thank you for making it so enjoyable for them.

My daughter goes here every summer holiday and loves it so much and always leaves with a happy smile and tells us how much fun she has! Couldn’t recommend it any higher ! Very good 👍🏻

WATFORD Barracudas Activity Day Camps has been fantastic for the kids during the school summer holidays. There is a great variety of activities to keep them entertained, active and engaged throughout the day.

The staff are friendly, enthusiastic and welcoming, and it’s reassuring knowing the children are in a safe and well-organised environment. The kids come home happy, tired and full of stories about what they’ve been doing!

A brilliant option for parents looking for a fun, reliable and enjoyable holiday camp. We’ll definitely be using Barracudas again and would highly recommend it to other families.

My 6-year-old son attended the Millais School camp and came home in tears after his experience.

Unfortunately, he was placed in a group with children who were unkind to him, and it appears their behaviour was neither witnessed nor managed by staff. As a result, he spent much of the day feeling upset rather than enjoying the activities.

He also didn't get to take part in several of the activities that were advertised. He told me he only had around five minutes at the water park, which consisted of a small slide and shallow pool. He said he spent a long time waiting for archery, but only two children actually got a turn, so he never got to participate. When I asked about the motorsports activity, he said he didn't get to do that either.

While waiting for archery, children he didn't know repeatedly hit the cap he was wearing on his head. Another child also burst his balloon animal. When I asked if he had told an adult, he said he had, and that he was told they would make him another. Unfortunately, this never happened. I ended up taking him back to a member of staff myself so they could follow through with what had been promised.

It was heartbreaking to see him come home so distressed after what should have been a fun day. We had expected a well-supervised environment where all children would be treated kindly and have the opportunity to participate in the advertised activities.

Sadly, based on this experience, we won't be returning.

My son absolutely loves it and there are so many activities happening that it just would not compare to keep him at home! The staff are all very supportive and caring and the location is great too!

The only improvement I would ask for is for the daily timetables to be updated 24/48 hrs before. As there have been times when it’s not updated on the morning off which makes preparation hard

Barracudas is the greatest camp of all time. Everybody who goes there has fun and the people there are very nice. They have all sorts of amazing activities. I’m definitely going back next summer for the third time!
