Good luck if you decide to order from…

Good luck if you decide to order from these people. Interesting to see that 1 star is a popular choice for this firm. They sent my book to the WRONG COUNTRY! Just to be able to get it, I had to pay 35€ of import duties in a country to which I didn’t want the book sent!! I’ve written to them 3 times to question this and have had no reply whatsoever. I struggle to imagine a less professional attitude than this; what a complete disregard for customer satisfaction.

Product ordered did not arrive

Product ordered did not arrive, and emails/queries sent to query delivery were all ignored.
Thankfully my bank have refunded charge, but I would never order from this company again

Ignorant and unprofessional

I placed an order from The States. Although I got an automatic confirmation email; I did not receive any notification of shipment or tracking. At least being notified of when an item is shipped is common courtesy. Considering the fact that I paid over sixty dollars for a parcel that weighed less than five pounds, I assumed I would get some communication. After about two weeks of not hearing anything, I contacted the owner/seller, Andy. I did not hear back. I sent a follow-up email a couple weeks later expressing my frustration with the transaction after figuring out that my parcel had been sitting on my entryway (that I don't use) for days, covered in snow. Something that wouldn't have happened had I been given some idea when to expect it. He immediately replied with a vague statement that my email was "ugly" because I called him out on his unprofessionalism. Didn't address anything I wrote. Couldn't have cared less apparently that my transaction was awful every step of the way. Miraculously my item wasn't damaged, even though the cardboard packaging had soaked through. If my item had been damaged, he likely would have done nothing. I will never deal with "A Way With Media" again. I suggest you don't either. Especially if you're ordering from outside the U.K.

How could Andy improve his business you ask? Common courtesy.

Avoid this company…

Ordered a book through them ….Have I said too much (Black edition) - Stewart Copeland… and never received it. Non responsive to emails, no phone number to call. When someone finally responded to an email, she said the first was lost (by the courier) and she would send a replacement. That one didn’t arrive either. Guess this one was “lost” too. Finally my credit card company just reversed the charges. This is either a very poorly run business or a scam. Wish I’d read the other reviews before ordering.

Damaged books delivered but not damaged by courier

I collect cookbooks and this is the first time I have ordered from Away with Media. It will also be my last time. I ordered 3 copies of the same book for myself and colleagues which were discounted but sold as new. Promoted by the author on Instagram as "only 20 left" I have so far received 2 of the 3 books and they are both damaged, and were damaged before being sent out as the outer box has no sign of damage. I was told I could return them for a refund but having already spent £10 on postage and no offer of return postage by the vendor I wont be further out of pocket. I wouldn't order from them again. Very poor quality and customer service

Just the honest truth

Pathetic company to use and order from I order a book early because I knew it would be high demand and wanted one and paid for it straight away and they was happy to take my money but I waited awhile and recieved nothing so email them just for them to reply oh we have lost you're book and will keep you a refund because we have no books left lol what a joke that is also when they was replying to emails it is constantly them making jokes about it thinking there funny and being rude about it ( wouldn't be rude if people knew who the person replying was) instead of them hiding away behind a company email thinking there funny ... not a professional business and would not recommend to anyone go buy anything from these at all

Be careful what you buy, check with them first that it’s accurately listed

Be careful what you buy. They list expensive books as signed by the relevant music artist. This is not the case at all. I’ve purchased 2 different books that were meant to be signed as per the listing on their website but you receive the book with a signed insert slip , not the same as a signed book is it.I thought the first time it may be a oversight but it happened a second time. Also book came with corners damaged in transit. They refunded my book but not the shipping fee as they said the book was fine. I sent them several emails and I’m banned now as I was rude. Well who would not be. Damaged book and not signed as per listing. Just question your items before purchasing
