Good price and comprehensive cover compared to renewing our current policy but avoid using price comparison sites or the price will increase dramatically within minutes!

Eventually found an insurance and went to pay and I was sent to a firm to verify something but they did not answer their phone for 2 hours now. Aviva's web chat to a person is too busy to respond , what is wrong with a company of this size?
Tried again this morning as soon as they opened at 9am message now says very busy wait time 45minutes. Do they care?

What is a DM and I don't use face book. It just shows we are numbers and they do not care.
Did me a favour I have gone elsewhere and cheaper, suggest you shop round.

The information was clear and the process of buying my car insurance straightforward. I appreciate the range of cover options.

I’m not even an Aviva customer yet, and my experience trying to become one has already been extremely frustrating.

I completed a quote through a price comparison site and decided that Aviva was the best option for me. After entering the required information on Aviva’s website, I was told that their Policy Investigation Unit needed to verify some of the details I had provided and that I needed to call them.

I have now tried for three consecutive days without success. Each time, I’m told they are experiencing higher-than-usual call volumes, that no one is available to take my call, and that I should call back later.

I also contacted Aviva’s general customer service team, but they were unable to help and simply advised me to keep trying until I eventually get through.

It is incredibly frustrating that I am actively trying to give Aviva my business, yet I cannot speak to the relevant department to actually complete the process. Not a great first impression for a potential new customer.

It made the process of changing my car insurance so easy .i am very happy with the outcome.

So I have returned to Aviva after a few years away...several times I have done this break,
not because I wished to as Aviva have been excellent when dealing with any claim I made,
because their renewal quotes for existing customers always rise substantially after two or three years of repeated business. Two years away & their price drops to one of the lowest & knowing their good service, they have once again attracted my money.

A seamless experience unlike some other top insurance companies. I applaud them.

Quick digital experience. No need to long waits over the phone. Just hope this doesn't reflect on an increased premium next year.
