Total rip off

My car was listed for about 6 weeks, and in the time I was contacted by 20+ scammers, and no real buyers. I ended up trading my car in to a dealer, so I got zero benefit from listing with Autotrader. What a waste.

Nothing but scammers respond to ads

Nothing but scammers respond to ads. You will be paying to be a bulls eye for low life scammers. Horrible company, do not pay these people, they can't stop the scammers ( and don't really care to).

Amazing professionalism and…

Amazing professionalism and communication every step of the way. Autotrader made it very easy and took care of everything efficiently and effectively. If i had one suggestion would be to try to filter scammers trying to lure sellers outside the app.

Safe and Secure transaction process

Easy to advertise and good exposure. Most important to me was to have a safe and secure transaction process and avoid possible scams. The Auto Trader Private Seller Process was safe and efficient and provides responsive support.
I definitely recommend it for peace of mind.

Good experience, mobile app is clunky.

I think that both the mobile app and the website are very clunky once you start chatting with buyers. However, once we started the sales process, even though the website and app didn’t offer a smooth experience, the backend processes seemed to work well. Support was extremely helpful.
