Car Cover problem …

I am writing you now because of a problem I have with the car cover I bought from you a year ago. Unfortunately, it has totally disintegrated in less than a year.

I try to use Gorilla Tape to hold torn sections together, but the material simply has worn out.

I do not abuse the cover when I take it on and off the car. I always have a second person to help me so the cover does not snag or stretch.

I attached the receipt for the cover to this email. I can also send you photos if you wish.

My request is for a replacement. I do not know how you handle these situations.

Thank you for your help today. You have not answered my calls or emails

No Refund or Item that was ordered.

I have purchased many auto parts and accessories from them. In May of this year, I ordered a Tonneau cover and Running Boards for a new Truck that I have Purchased, the Running Boards arrived within a week, I have yet to receive the Tonneau Cover. I never received a Refund; I emailed and had Called and Emailed once a week since then and still have not received a response or anything. The Tonneau was a very expensive item and is something that is important to have on my truck.
I am about to contact an attorney to see if there is something that I can do to a refund or actually get the item from Autoanything.com?
I had always had a great experience with autoanything.com until this.
Help would be greatly appreciated.

Dealing with this company has been an…

Dealing with this company has been an experience I could have lived without!!! I have bought from them before with no problem, but this time, they accepted my order for a Power Stop brake kit to the tune of $1220.00, accepted my payment, then later, cancelled my order. Order was placed on June 26th. My money has not been refunded, nor can I get anybody to acknowledge my emails. Forget the phone, all you get is a recording!!! Worst customer service experience ever. Time to let the attorney’s take it over from here!! Think twice before you deal with these cheapskate’s!!!

I ordered a wheel well toolbox ($254)…

I ordered a wheel well toolbox ($254) for my husband. After the ship date being postponed twice the order was cancelled by AutoAnything. The email I received said that I would receive a refund in 3-6 business days. It’s now been 9 business days and still no refund in my account. When I called Customerservice the recording says no one is available to speak and that I have to email them. So I emailed them and I still haven’t heard back. I will never purchase anything from them again. The customer service is terrible. If I could go without giving any stars I would. I gave them a zero star rating. I want my money back!

Purchased a $250 car cover which began to disintegrate in 4 months leaving the car with a white powdery film on the car which got into all the cracks & crevices. Tried numerous times to call them on their listed phone # but their recording no longer responds - always says all reps are unavailable. Tried emailing & that was unsuccessful!! Finally discovered they have now closed their business!!!!!!!!!! LOW LIVES!!!! Cover can not be used since the powdery dust is everywhere when the cover is removed & the car must be washed before it can be driven ... powder substance all over the windows.

Rip Off

Rip Off. Do not order from this company, we had ordered a tonneau cover for our customer back in MAy 2023 and this is now July 10 and nothing. Can't call them have to go through a email request have sent 5 request NO one has reached out to us. The shipping date keep getting moved. We paid for something we did not get. We will be getting ahold of the State Attorneys office for the state that Auto Anything is in. This COMPANY is a JOKE.

sneaky practice.

I ordered a one car seat cover (order# 21817524). After a few hours my son came home and gave me a whole set for the father's day. I contacted Autoanything.com for cancelation and saw on the fedex tracking ( FedEx notified to void this shipment message) that shipment was canceled at 8.20am. Nevertheless today I received a package and after tracking realised it's the very same canceled order was sneaky reshipped at 3.21pm. the same day it was canceled. Now to return this order I'll have to pay a return shipping. Never ever will deal with Autoanything.com again.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE -RIP OFF

AWFUL EXPERIENCE -RIP OFF. I ordered specific car mats for my porsche. The company sent the wrong items. I kept calling and emailing, sending pics, explaining over and over that the wrong item was sent. 3 mins wait time on call means 30 mins! not sure if they just want to wear you down. Finally i got a return label but they subtracted a shipping fee... wow they sent me the wrong item, wasted hours of my time and now charge me a return shipping fee. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

Great company!

I ordered a Bak flip Tonneau cover for my truck on 6/3/2023 and was pleased to receive it on 6/9/2023. AutoAnythig was very prompted on sending me notices of payment, and shipping information. Price of the product was cheaper than any other site I looked at with discounts. I would not hesitate to buy from AutoAnything in the future.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM AutoAnything! Purchased Splash guards; send two sets for the rear of my truck. Called for return authorization. Rep agreed to send a RA number by email; 2 weeks passed and no RA. I called again and was told not response from manufacture. I do not expect to ever get a return authorization from this lousy company.

Price and product not honored. RIPOFF

I ordered a product at an on sale price from Auto Anything on Amazon. They mailed me another product instead. When I asked for the correct product Their customer service was extremely unresponsive, failed to send me the product I ordered, very quickly issued a refund through Amazon that I did NOT ask for and refused my request to honor the original order. It is clear through my experience and the comments made by others that their ordering system and customer service department is not professionally managed. Do yourself a favor and just buy from someplace else. I have had better ordering experiences from shady overseas companies. If you have been ripped off by them I suggest filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.

I foolishly ordered from this company…

I foolishly ordered from this company before I checked reviews. Right off the bat, it seemed fishy. I was told there was going to be an unexpected delay "because of their manufacturer." They strung me along for 3 weeks claiming it was "in process" with the manufacturer. Finally I called the manufacturer (Race Ramps) while I was on chat with Auto Anything scammer Rochelle. At first, I didn't tell scammer Rochelle I was on the line with the manufacturer. She gave me a PO number that she said would be in the manufacturer's system along with my name and shipping information. As expected the manufacturer did not have any record of the order or any record of my name. I told scammer Rochelle I was on the line with the manufacturer and they didn't have any record of this order number and they didn't have my name in their system. I asked scammer Rochelle who she communicated with at Race Ramps about my order and she of course said she "couldn't share" that information. Of course Auto Anything ran my credit card 3 weeks earlier so now I'm having to dispute the transaction with my credit card company. $300 down the drain with these scammers because I didn't check the reviews! Read the reviews, you will see the same experiences over and over. It's a scam! AutoAnything - you can spare me the insincere: "we are so sorry..." reply and lying explanation. It's a scam, you know it's a scam, and so does everyone else who has been duped by your "company."

I ordered a part for my Pontiac…

I ordered a part for my Pontiac solstice. I paid extra for next day delivery on Thursday for it to be here on Friday. Called auto anything and was told it will be to me on that day (friday) stayed home waiting for my part before the auto shop closed for the day and it never came. When I called on Saturday I was told my part was still at the shop any the parts department was closed on Saturdays. I called today (Monday) and was told it's shipping out today which is fine, but I should at least get my overnight fee back being that I didn't receive it overnight. I was told NO unless I want to wait another week for it. If you pay for overnight, shouldn't you get that? I ask for the number to the corporate office.

High restocking and return fees

I ordered 1 set of floor mats I received 4 and charged for 4. I called customer service to return 3 sets of floor mats that I didn’t order and was charged about $ 170 for restocking fees and return shipping, this is a ridiculous policy especially when I didn’t order 4 sets. I do not recommend buying from this company. They didn’t even inform me they were doing this. This is not a reputable company.

To clarify, in the event of a standard return (meaning a mistake was not made on our end), the customer is responsible for return shipping, and there is a 20% restocking/reprocessing fee to cover the costs incurred by us. In the event of a mistake made on our end or an exchange for another product, all of those fees are waived, meaning you'd get the full price you paid refunded to you or applied to your exchange. I am a bit confused since you wouldn't have paid for those three mats in the first place if you didn't order them, meaning there would be no refund and no restocking fee. Additionally, the return fee breakdown is included in the return email that was sent with your return labels. The worst offshore support I've yet encountered, and unexplained amounts deducted from a refund

I purchased parts to rebuild the suspension on my Subaru (KYB struts and mounts, H&R springs), and paid over a thousand for parts and close to $250 for "expedited shipping". 4 days later I had received all of the parts except the front strut mounts.

My car was un-drivable because it wasn't in a safe state, and I needed to get it back on the road ASAP.

Did expedited shipping help with that? No. I had to call no less than 11 times and chat online 14 times, as I explained that the strut mounts (a $53 part) were missing from my thousand dollar order.

"No, the parts are there. The distributor that dropped shipped them says they were." So I shouldn't believe my lying eyes that told me they weren't in any of the boxes, despite searching twice. This conversation went on daily for 4 days, because nobody bothered to create a case and annotate it.

I even offered to send photos of the boxes, their mailing labels, and their contents for validation, but no one ever took me up on that.

Their website claims there is a 20% restocking fee, unless they make a mistake (it's not clear if "they" is the company exclusively or it includes the distributors they use as well).

Anyway, after 4 days of being told the parts were there and I just couldn't see them... then being told replacements had been shipped that same day and I'd be sent the tracking # (no one ever sent me a tracking number), I informed them that indeed a mistake had been made, or rather several. Calling a customer a liar when they said parts were missing was their first mistake. Failing to get a stateside manager to call me back for 6 days when I asked for one was the second (I got repeatedly dropped calls while talking to their offshore team in the Philippines which wasn't progressing my issue) was the 2nd. Failing to send the missing part in a timely manner (it took 6 days) when I had paid for "expedited shipping" [sic] was their third mistake.

I informed them that I'd be returning all of the KYB parts, and I'd be expecting a full refund, per their stated policy of waving the fees if there was a mistake, and I was also not going to pay for shipping since I hadn't gotten expedited shipping and I was damned if I was going to pay any further shipping charges, so please make up shipping labels and send me the PDF's of them.

I returned the parts, but got a refund that was less than 60% of their cost, didn't include tax, and didn't include a refund for the "expedited shipping" that I never received.

I asked (more than once) for a statement explaining how the refund had been calculated, but never received one.

I've filed a complaint with the BBB (they're not a registered member, unsurprisingly).

I'll be filing a complaint with the state AG for California for deceptive business practices, and sales tax fraud (I haven't been issued a tax refund for the returned parts).

I'll also be making a small claims court filing in my home state, and asking for triple damages.

Update: As expected, they reply apologizing profusely and explain how if I'll reach out to them, they'll fix everything. I did reply to them, 4 days ago, and they never got back to me.

Update 2: There's no accounting I can do of the cost of the parts, restocking fees, etc. that arrives at the amount I was refunded. I asked for a statement explaining the refunds but never got one. I'll be reaching out to the state Tax Commission to look into possible irregularities on collecting sales tax on cancelled sales.

Was told via online chat floor matts…

Was told via online chat floor matts would fit my Buick Lacross 2011 which has posts in the floor that old ones clip on. Theirs just have loose open hole that allows them to come off on foot contact. They said I could return and they would pay shipping, but my time and effort. Even insisted their manufacurer said they fit all Lacross Models in my year. They canlt get floor matts wright why trust them on anything. I was told they would fit whihc was not true!

This company uses 'bait and switch'…

This company uses 'bait and switch' tactics to get you to buy something. First, they make you believe you are getting a 15% discount, but that is not legit. Then they tell you that will ship your order in a couple of days. But within a couple of hours they send you a notice that your item is on back order and will not be shipped for another month. Out of frustration, I notified them to cancel my order in which they are saying it takes up to 10 days to do that. This place needs to be shut down. I'm contacting the BBB as well. Do NOT buy anything from this place. It's an absolute joke.

Tried to return an Item I accidently…

Tried to return an Item I accidently purchased 2 of the same products but meant to purchase 1. Online I selected one but somehow 2 ended up in the cart and when I checked out it was too late when I noticed 2 where billed. When I tried to return one of the 2 items online the person that I chatted with (Jestine B from Customer service) refused to waive the restocking fee and they also charge a return processing fee for an Item that actual only cost $20 and is in its original packaging. She was Extremely unwilling to help and very condescending. Offered no empathy and felt like I was chatting with a robot. First- and last-time customer. I'm a contractor with commercial vehicles and would have been a great customer for a company like AutoAnything. Beware of the return policy because that's what they hit you with when you ask them to wiave the fees.
