I purchased an MG5 from this…
I purchased an MG5 from this dealership, and unfortunately my experience has been extremely disappointing. When I bought the car, the seller clearly assured me that the vehicle had a valid official MG warranty.
At the moment of collecting the car, several issues were already visible: the interior was dirty (including a French fry and a cigarette filter inside), there was a hole in the upholstery under the driver’s seat, and the driver’s seat wasn’t working—despite being told that the car was in perfect condition.
Only the issue with the seat was later resolved in their workshop; all the other problems were left as they were.
The most serious issue, however, is that once I arrived in Portugal and took the car to MG for a routine maintenance check, I was informed that the vehicle has no valid MG warranty at all, as it had no registered maintenance history. This completely contradicts what the seller told me at the time of purchase.
I sent a detailed email about this situation on 20/10/2025, and since then I have received no response and no proposed solution. It has now been weeks of total silence from the dealership.
I paid in full and on time—even before seeing the car—and this is the experience I am left with. I am still waiting for a professional resolution, and I believe future customers should be aware of how this situation has been handled.
