I had an Omega watch of huge sentimental value serviced here in 2018 at a cost of £765. I subsequently discovered that in fact the substance of the work they had said was undertaken was not done, and they had only done the bare minimum cosmetically to provide the appearance of it having being fully repaired. I spoke to the company in January 2020 about this while the work was still under warranty and was told they were “closing for renovations” until March and to bring it in then and that all would be fixed free of charge. I now realise they in fact went into liquidation in January (pre-COVID) and were not conducting “renovations”. Incredibly dishonest behaviour.

The other day I brought in two Raymond Weil watches in for evaluation.
They took both watches from me, around they went into their office, which what seemed like 2 minutes or so. The assistant came back and told me they'd give me £100 for pair of them.

I looked at the chap as if to say, are you serious? With a straight face he assured me that he was. I said thanks very much, but no thanks.

I have since learnt that one of the watches is worth £700 and the other is worth £1000. The cost alone to replace just the battery is £80 each.

The watches have the original strap, buckle, unmarked and are beautifully maintained.

All I can say is, I didn't like the vibe when the gave me the evaluation, thus I certainly wasn't going to part with them. Something just didn't feel right.

Well, my suspicions were right, hence I will not be going back to do business with them in any shape or form.

Bought a vintage 1966,18K gold Omega Deville from Austin Kaye and found the service and watch both to be impeccable. I spoke to Martin, Chris and Liam and they were all extremely attentive to my needs and delivered a high level of customer service throughout the transaction. The communication was first class and the watch was delivered very quickly, exactly when they said it would be.
When I decided the watch was too small for me, Martin immediately accepted the return with no questions asked and put through an immediate refund to my credit card.
I was then the bain of his life for a few days whilst I procrastinated over which new watch to buy. He gave me great advice and I finally decided upon a Rolex Explorer, which arrived the next day by special delivery, wonderfully packaged and in pristine condition with all of the correct paperwork. I am completely over the moon with my new watch and couldn't be a happier customer. Martin, you are a credit to your profession and a true gent.
I will definitely be buying from them again in the future, top company.

At a time when the marketplace is crowded with sharks, who offer low prices and little else, using Austin Kaye has been a delight.

Over about 25 years I've been buying quality watches for myself and my wife. Never has the experience been as civilised as my recent dealings with Martin Arnold at Austin Kaye.

If you want to buy a good watch, knowing that your will receive the best of old-fashioned service and attention, don't hesitate, go to Austin Kaye first.

Austin Kaye's reputation is well deserved as the watch I received was exactly as described and to be honest in virtual "New' condition. Would do business again.

Excellent selection of watches. Knowledge of staff varied - some are superb, others have limited knowledge. Staff should have good knowledge of all items on sale, not just their 'favourites'.

Austin Kaye have been excellent, tirelessly helpful and the watch I bought was perfect.
Chrono24 who put me in touch with Austin Kaye, have been endlessly irritating however. My advice would be always deal directly with A.K.

I have just bought a Omega seamaster from Austin Kaye and I am very pleased with the watch, they even changed the watch strap after I rang to say it wasn't suitable and then sent the watch back to me by special delivery. Excellent customer service and quality watches.

Austin Kaye staff were very helpful and supportive despite my 'days of extreme stress' due to the transfer of funds via my offshore bank (Im not a UK resident). A last minute happy ending nevertheless (Heathrow and the wife were beckoning with some urgency), and the Patek Calatrava is ticking away on my wrist as I type this...
