I am extremely disappointed with Asurion’s handling of my Sun Love Protection Plan claim for my Sunglass Hut purchase.

I have called three separate times, spending over 3 hours in total, including one call that lasted more than 54 minutes. Each time, I patiently provided all of my information, including my address and payment card details, only to be told at the very end that they were experiencing a “system error” and that I would need to call back later.

This has happened repeatedly. On other calls, the line was disconnected or another issue came up right before my claim could be completed. It’s incredibly frustrating and feels completely unprofessional. After multiple failed attempts, it honestly feels like they’re using “system error” as an excuse to avoid processing a valid claim.

What makes this even worse is that my claim submission window is about to expire. I have done everything required on my end, yet Asurion’s repeated technical issues and poor customer service are putting my claim at risk.

A protection plan is supposed to provide peace of mind, not force customers to spend hours on the phone with no resolution. This has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve had. I expect Asurion to honor my claim and resolve this immediately instead of making customers repeatedly start the process over.

I really didn't know what to expect when I signed on to the website to obtain service for my washing machine. Especially since it was 8:30 pm on a Saturday evening.
Once I entered my information, I was connected to a rep via chat, which took all of 1 minute.
I explained the issue I was having, the Service Rep took care of the rest. Few more steps, and my service order was confirmed.
It was a very smooth process, with little effort.
