Beautiful, good quality headset and mixamp. Not the same can be said about the software and the customer care team.
I ordered the A40 TR and the Mixamp Pro. I have no issues with these two products, as they look and feel and work as well as I expected them to. They're probably the best I've ever used in my many years of gaming.
My problem has to do with the way my order was handled. I have placed my order exactly 1 week before Christmas Day, thinking it will arrive in time for Christmas.
Their website says that the dispatch process only takes 1, maximum 2 days. While delivery to Ireland was supposed to be 3 days. That's a total of 5 business days from the moment you place the order, to the moment you're supposed to receive your items.
In my case, dispatch process took 5 business days, while shipping with UPS took another 12 days.
I even wrote to Astro Gaming
customer support to ask them why dispatching the items was taking so long, and I am still to get a reply from them to this day.
Another major issue is their Windows software that they have developed for the headset and Mixamp. The firmware upgrade functionality inside the app does not work. Whenever I try to apply the firmware update in Windows 11, it simply gets stuck at 0% and stays like that for infinity. This is a common issue, as everybody is flagging this down, on the web, and it's been a persistent issue since 2019, if I'm not mistaken. What are Astro doing to fix this? You guessed that right: NOTHING.
It is a shame that such well made headsets have to come with such letdown from the software development team and the customer support team.

much better experience than logitech
much better experience than logitech. confused as to why considering astro is owned by logitech, nonetheless, had a good experience when product had an issue, sent it back, unfortunately i had to pay for the return which, is understandable. but sent me back a replacement for the issues, straight to the point.
Poor Warranty Service and Build Quality
Purchased astro a40 tr with mix amp for xbox brand new for £250 at time in 2019, after just over a year of ownership the headset would have a continous buzzing sound, so astro ask you to do trouble shooting steps which I did, still same issue, so asked me to send my mix amp, they sent me a "reconditioned" mix amp back even though it should have been brand new or a refund as stated under our consumer rights (uk) or atleast have a 12 month warranty on the part replaced but they dont offer that, so beware as any warranty claim is for reconditioned item and not brand new, so anyway they claimed they repaired/replaced the mix amp but headset was still buzzing, so they then claimed it was my xbox, so I got a xbox one x brand new and guess what the headset still buzz's, they then stated again it was because of my console even though it was brand new, eventually I gave up arguing with someone via email, by the way I got a xbox series x and the headset does the exact same, buzz's constantly unless you unplug the microphone, another issue is if you get the white headset and mix amp the colour of the headset goes yellow over time, my advice is stay clear or buy from somewhere that offers a long extended warranty because you will Need it. Total cowboys and not a reliable headset.
Astro A50 & Customer Service
Bought the Astro A50 and immediately began having problems right after plugging into the pc. The firmware refused to update after attempting both the microsoft store version of the Astro Command Centre software & the direct link to the ACC via Astro's official website. This led me to their customer support which i was appalled by!! initially i was going to have some patience with the headset and hope to find a firmware solution however, after talking with their customer service member (Andrew Radlett) and his lack of desire to help or come to a solution i knew immediately to return this £300 headset. He initially began blaming my pc which was purchased new this year and has had zero issues with any other devices etc. I wasn't willing to accept this as it clearly was an issue with either their software or their headset as after a quick google search i found plenty of other users with the same issue. He then suggest i borrow a family/friends computer to update the firmware on my headseat!? meaning each time i wanted to update to the latest firmware i would require another persons pc. I tried reasoning with him about how ridiculous this was and he proceeded to simply respond with an identical email asking me to do the same thing. He then proceeded to ask me for proof of purchase via receipt of my headset which i cannot understand why he would need this. All in all the headset looks and feels nice but the firmware issues combined with the worst customer service i have ever experienced.

poor sound quality unless you have them one high volume which nobody can listen to
Customer service is an actual joke!
I was asked to send back my sons A50 headset for repair after we had been in hospital with covid. I did this on the 11th May, which was received by them on the 12th May 2021. Since then I have had no communication from them, I have sent numerous emails, tweeted and sent requests on their website. And nothing! I also had to send my sons C40 controller 2 days ago as this has also broken, that's over £500 in astro products just floating around with them and I have no idea what is happening. This is becoming a joke, I have a very mad 14 year old who just wants to play with his friends online and has not been able to for almost a month!

Used the Left Stick as a button for 5 minutes so pressing down on the Left Stick for 5 minutes and its already broken. I had this problem a year ago, astro hasnt even done anything about it. The best you can do is get a refund. The Astro C40 is a joke and multiple things break in it. i DO NOT recommend the controller to ANYBODY.
Worst customer service
I bought an Astro C40 controller. Fast forward 4 months later my R1 button becomes dodgy as it registers double clicks when i press it once. 2 weeks later this happened to the L1 button. Tried to contact customer service but they always reply with the same message (Use the software and do a hard reset), I’ve done all these and the problem is obviously a hardware problem. As soon as I said that I’ve tried all the steps and it’s still not working and that my controller is still under warranty no one replies to my emails anymore. I’ve raised two separate tickets, contacted them on Twitter and Facebook but it seems that their customer service is non existent.
You want my advise DON’T BUY ANY PRODUCTS FROM THEM, THEY ARE EXPENSIVE WITH NON EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPPORT.
Terrible experience
Terrible experience! Bought A50s and they were faulty, crackling noises at medium volumes, faulty buttons on the headset. Astro did reply saying they would replace this on the 10 March however 3 weeks have gone past and I can’t get any update from Twitter, email and there is no customer service number.
Shocking customer service and product. AVOID
Amazing
On my 3rd set astro headsets, the first 2 lasted years of abuse and my current gen 4 a50s are amazing I can game, clean my house, go outside and I have just done a 6 hour tattoo session in the next room with absolute no issues(listening to YouTube through my xbox), they are so comfortable and so loud I love them
Purchased A50 as they're meant to be…
Purchased A50 as they're meant to be great. Out of box was faulty as the right side ear up keeps cutting out. They're making me wait over 2 months as they don't have any replacements according to the email. Also won't let me ship to them until they have stock just to inconvenience me more.
Bad product but worse customer service. I would expect an immediate replacement under warranty this is the first and last time I try astro.
Awful customer service using major…
Awful customer service using major delay tactics. Waited for 28 days for hdmi splitter so my headset (a50) would work on ps5. Must of had 100 emails all copied and pasted responses. Ended up buying an aftermarket one that was delivered the same day. Feel like I was tricked as they don't publish bad reviews.
Poor Company.. AVOID!
Poor customer service
Shoddy build quality
Returned a faulty Mix Amp TR pro within the first month of ownership.
After countless emails, constantly chasing up what is going on.
I still dont have my mix amp, 2 months after them receiving it.
Bought one of their products
Bought one of their products, left a fair review which was honest and friendly enough but because it didn't state that I was happy with the product they've chosen to not publish it which is very misleading and actually pretty dishonest. I bought my headset based on the customer reviews which they are manipulating - reading through other reviews on Trustpilot it's clear that I am not alone in my opinion of their products.

Terrible do not waist your time or money. I purchased a headset Astro A20 wireless headset after 2 months of barely usage the audio and mic cuts in and out constantly. Sent an email to the Astro customer service, there was no response for 8 days. The response I got was to try different adjustments to see if helped. After trying all these options I responded that there was no change. It has been 2 weeks and still no response. If your reading this I would def seek a different brand of product then Astro gaming!!

Price looked good $69.99 for the A10 looking at the box it looked like it would be a good headset. I didn’t like the fact that headset connected to the controller with the cord going to be consistently in the way I could have got used to that maybe actually no it would have been in the way since I mainly use a steering wheel. But thankfully the headset didn’t even work with only 1 speaker working because of faulty connection. I returned to bestbuy 2 minutes after opening.
Dont trust the reviews on Astro’s website.
Recently purchased the hdmi adapter for the PS5. Bought it based on Astro’s description which states ‘get the most out of your PS5’. It turns out the hdmi adapter uses hdmi 2.0b, which does not support the 120fps the PS5 puts out. I would suggest, in that case, the adapter will not enable customers to ‘get the most out of your PS5’. I left a review of the product on Astro’s website but it has not been published, perhaps becayse it is only 1 star. Be wary of the reviews on there.
I would give them no stars if I could
I would give them no stars if I could. Horrible company to purchase things from. I paid for express 2-3 days shipping for 9.00 on a 10.00 headphone cord. It was a week before I got them and I called customer service and she told me they have no such thing as express shipping. After arguing with her over why my price was so high then, she told me after a long hold that they “changed it”. They changed the price of shipping since I ordered it! Horrible customer service and company. I would never recommend. They scammed me and took more money than they should have!
Never again
I received a headset form them, but only 1 ear worked. They sent me a new jack wire (which was really really short and practically unusable). This didn't fix the problem.
I wanted a refund, but apparently they would not refund me after I sent the headset back, but only send a new headset, which I did not want. I had to pay for the return shipment myself, which was around 2/5 the price of the actual headset.
Customer support was really unhelpful in this matter.
Would not recommend.
