Have tried to place an order and all I keep getting is order failed try again. Have tried to pay by PayPal & debit card, collection and delivery. Now I gave to wait for the pending payments to go back into my account. You can't speak to anybody to resolve the problem. Awful website and zero customer service

Will not let me buy anything, lying customer service
I have been shopping in Argos for years, until one day I no longer could. Their website seems to be blocking me from making a payment. Every payment I make is immediately refunded and my order is cancelled.
It seems Argos maintains a secret block list of customers it no longer wants to serve. Although I did not commit anything wrong, it seems I have been flagged as such for some reason and Argos won't admit it and refuse to do anything about it.
Their customer support is purposefully hard to get to (you must have an existing order number or they will hang up on you). Even when you manage to get through, they will make up any lies of getting back to you just to end the call. Their online chat now only has an AI bot and no live agents.

Great patio set
Great patio set. Easy to put together except for screw caps as too close to the rattan but I have found sticker covers to use instead. The set is compact but still chairs are bigger and more comfortable than a dining chair and the table big enough for 4 to eat. Just what I wanted for my space. Delivery was on time and texted/called first.
