Nov, they have been in Heathrow customs since nov 17. Been emailing them back and fore, today I told them if I didn’t get a refund I would speak to my credit card company and within minutes I have had a full refund.

Ordered two for $97. And immediately received a call from my credit card co wanting verification of the charge for $179, where did that charge come from. Somewhere out of the country I suspect and glad American Express notified me since it’s a scam. Don’t waste your time or mondy

DO NOT BUY THESE HEATERS. This is a complete scam. They advertise the heaters as a new technology but are very low-quality convection heaters. They are probably illegal in the UK as the design is dangerous and could cause a fire. Save yourself the embarrassment of being ripped off.

Hi. I purchased one of these heaters after reading some reviews on two review sites, but not Trustpilot site,
This heater is a total waste of money you can only feel the heat if you put your hand closer than 300mm,
I have given it a one star but in actual fact it is not worth even one star

Do not order from this company I've lost over £130 I've had a number of e mails with no help at all offered me 75% refund then sent me 25 % a total scam my case us still on going through PayPal but still not much help either totally gutted 😢

Total scam. Good never received. Tracking states at heathrow..requested 5 times for contact details and courier detail to pay customs duty - never recieved. Demanded fulkl refund - refused 75% and 85% offered. They then gavce 85% but continue toi refuse toi refund rest stating money back guaranette expired as I accepted 85% refund..which I didnt!!! Truly awful..AVOID!!!

2 broken heaters: first arrived with a broken plug, v flimsy packaging. They sent another, which pumps no heat out.

Waste of money. Cheap, ineffective, and I find it hard to believe it’s even safe to use.

I ordered two and when I plugged first one in the top pin snapped off in the socket so not only is the heater unusable but so is the socket.

Plugged in the second one and it barely heats a space 2 foot away - let alone the room

Hvae emailed their customer service twice and have now been offered a 75% refund and keep the “working one” as I would have to pay for return to USA I’ve gone for this option but waiting to see if money arrives!

SCAM avoid at all costs.
Ordered 3 and a remote on16/12/22. Delayed checking because of postal delays and Christmas. On checking informed that they were stuck at Customs. No further information given. Despite numerous e.mail's have received same reply as other Reviewers. Scam.

I ordered one, not realising it came from the USA. However i am extremely pleased with ever aspect of this unit, i have read several reviews and I’m afraid that like me people didn’t do their homework, otherwise you would have seen numerous outlets in this country selling for as little as twenty pounds. Try Dunelm for one,selling this item for twenty pounds. I will definitely be purchasing one when next at Dunhelm

Do not buy, total scam. Bought 2 heaters and one just blows out cold air and the other just gets extremely hot. Have tried contacting them, but with out any response. AVOID THEM.

Similar experience to most other reviewers. Been waiting over a month. Fobbed off by "Customer Support". Clearly a scam. Will claim via MasterCard.

Plug was broken when I received it and it is unusable. The company has not replied to my email about it. You also need a socket well above a skirting board to be able to plug it in.

I ordered three heaters and was not aware until too late that they were a US company. The heaters got stuck in customs (according to the tracker) and when I queried what was happening I was told by the company that I would have to pay the duty on them. I said no and, to cut a very long and unhappy story short (16 emails) I finally got a full refund although I have paid for postage and two charges by my credit card company for currency conversion. It was a tortuous experience and I would not recommend them. If you have a problem with them, don't give up and, if necessary, raise a dispute with your bank or credit card company. The contract was made in the UK and is governed by UK law.

I ordered one of these not realising it was coming from USA, but when I received it the longest pin on the plug had broken and was loose in the box, so it was unusable. I sent them photos via email showing the problem and almost by return was offered a replacement or refund. I opted for a refund and within hours this was actioned and confirmed with a refund invoice. Can't rate the heater but the customer support was 5*!

I wanted to order one portable heater and due to their marketing skills I ended up talking myself into ordering 3. The order was placed on 11.12.22 and I’m yet to receive them. When tracking the order it showed that it was at customs on 16.12.22 and has never been updated since. When I queried I got a useless reply to advise me to check the tracking, which I obviously had and then a throwaway comment to casually inform me that I will need to pay customs charges! This was never mentioned when purchasing. I have emailed a number of times but I’m now getting no response. My next port of call will be to try to get a refund via my credit card provider.
Avoid this company at all costs!

I ordered and eventually recieved 3 Alpha heaters. They did not stay in the wall well. They got extremely hot on the outside while running and they kept just turning off suddenly. I tried contacting them immediately and they never returned any of my phone calls or emails. After weeks of effort, I finally reached an agent and they told me my return time has expired and they would not refund me. I have been fighting with them, but it seems they are still not going to help me. I am so dissapointed. I wasted so much money on this junk. I would say 0 stats if I could!

I’d give no stars if possible.
Tried to cancel my order within hours of placing it but was told I was too late.
Then offered me 30% off off I kept the order. Then 40% and so on. Each time I refused the discount got bigger.
Eventually I got a full refund.
The heater arrived and is absolutely useless. Wouldn’t heat a dog kennel.
Stay away from this company.

Do not buy this heater even when using PayPal. The heater is cheap and plastic and does not work !!!
When trying to return it’s been nothing but hassle and cost me £15 to send back to Hong Kong
The company is called Marging Holdings btw. It’s cost money and about a month to resolve and I haven’t received a refund yet although PayPal resolution centre have said they will pay the money back once I’ve sent proof of postage which I have done today
