I have had the worst experience ever
I have had the worst experience ever. It has been more than two weeks, and I still have not received my order. I have had to chase them for updates, and every time I email customer service, I receive a response from a different representative who has no idea about my issue. The communication has been terrible, and the service has been even worse. Overall, it has been a very disappointing experience.

I have looked into this and can see that the parcel was returned to us due to an issue with the address and Royal Mail. This has been set up to be reshipped to you, and we have raised for this to happen on the agreed date.
Once the handset is dispatched, you will receive an email to confirm this, followed by your new tracking information.

Still not received device
Phone was supposed to arrive on Saturday the 25th, 3 days later I have still not received. There’s been no correspondence from Affordable Mobiles without me ringing up the helpline myself. People on the phone helpful but the direct communication from the company has been terrible. My phone number has now been linked to my new phone which I have not yet received which is a massive inconvenience. Prices and deals are great but not so great in practice without my device and no communication.

I am sorry to hear that you are still waiting for your handset to be delivered. I reviewed your order and can see that this was returned to us due to an issue with the address with Royal Mail.
Our team have already set up for the handset to be reshipped once it is back in our warehouse. Once the handset is dispatched, you will receive an email to confirm this along with new tracking information.
Regarding the transfer of your number, I understand the frustration caused by this and appreciate that it is important to be contactable by friends and family. While we reship your handset, the quickest way to regain access to your number is by requesting a replacement SIM card from O2 directly.

Recommend company, cheapest and best deal on the iPhone I wanted. Had a couple of problems but it was O2’s end not affordable mobiles. Phone was dispatched the same day and received next day, couldn’t ask for better. Thank you.

Bad customer service
Ordered the iPhone 16 pro got told it would be next day to then find out it wasn’t next day and when I called got told no SIM cards in stock waited a couple days and still nothing I called up to be told it had been shipped and delivered but I hadn’t received it when I did get my phone 5 days later it worked for all of 1 hour and then SIM card wouldn’t work in the phone got told I had to send the phone back and pay for the postage done that for next day and then still didn’t hear anything until I called again to be told there is a fault on the phone they will send me out another phone again didn’t hear anything called back a couple days later to be told the phone is no longer in stock and have to wait 7 to 10 working days i then got an email 2 days later telling me they are no longer getting the iPhone 16 pro in stock and I can change the phone to a different one if I wanted to but then also got an email from a different person from the company telling me the iPhone 16 pro would be back in stock in a week

Mixed experience, after receiving a phone that bricked on start-up. I had to work incredibly hard to get them to accept any accountability, speaking to 8 different people who all simply pied me off to their "standard returns" process for broken handsets.
Yes they pay for deliveyr returns and will re-imburse you the contract cost for the time you're without phone, but the onus is on you as the customer to sort the problem they cause.
The 2nd phone, same issue - so you can imagine my frustration.
However, in steps Josh, an absolute hero of the moment. Replied promptly, when request and with not only some empathy, but genuine proactive thinking.
Thanks to Josh, I finally got someone that gave me confidence it would be sorted by them, and not through my effort.
Honestly, to leadership, Josh is an A-Player and deserves the recognition.
anyway, long story short, Josh is a hero, but their support team and process mostly sucks a**.
Good prices, but good luck if it doesn't work.

Credit Check without providing the phone
I placed an order and in 10 min order has been approved from the network provider it was a iPhone 16 and once it’s approved I been told it’s out of stock the black color I asked for any other color I been told none of the color is available in any storage size. I opted to cancel as no alternative been offered somebody call me today to discuss but unfortunately they just want to run another credit check what a shame and I think FCA should check this company as unnecessary credit check without providing the phone which advertise as available at the time of order.I recommend to be aware of before you click on proceed for credit check you might hurt you credit history and this company doesn’t care about this at all

As an indirect partner of the network, we do not carry out the credit check ourselves. The credit assessment is completed by the network provider as part of their application process, while our role is to supply the handset and facilitate the order. This is why the network approval process takes place before the order can be completed.
I understand that your concern is not about whether you spoke to a member of our team, but that you were able to place an order and complete the network approval process, only to be advised afterwards that the handset was unavailable.
Our website displays the most up-to-date stock information available to us at the time. However, stock levels can change very quickly and are subject to change without notice. Unfortunately, there are occasions where stock becomes unavailable between the point an order is placed and when it reaches the processing stage. We appreciate how disappointing this is, particularly when you have already gone through the application process.
I completely understand that, from your perspective, this has resulted in an unnecessary credit search and has left you disappointed with the service received. Please accept our sincere apologies for this.
It's also worth noting that if you already have an existing contract that is within its final 30 days and are looking to upgrade, orders placed through us are often processed as an eligibility check rather than a full credit application, depending on the network and account status.
We are genuinely sorry that we were unable to fulfil your order on this occasion and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.

Can you please use a different courier…
Can you please use a different courier in the future. I placed an order on Thursday and was expecting next day delivery, for it to be scheduled for delivery the following Monday. I know this is not the fault of affordable mobiles, but you do have the choice to use a more reliable courier.
