Meeting Othman, I went in looking for help and advice.I had an iMac that I wasn’t using and I needed something more user friendly to meet my needs. I also had old laptops that I need to dispose of but there was stuff on them that needed saving. I know very little about computers so Othman was amazing, he has been just so helpful and friendly and wants to help nothing seems to be too much for him. He also helped me with my email account. Now one week later I have a new easy to use and store MacBook with all the contents from iMac and Laptops on a hard drive. I cannot praise Othman and his team enough for all the help and assistance I have
received. It is an amazing service. Thank you.

What i know about computers, you can write on a matchstick. Had an imac 21" that was 10 years old. Kept switching itself off after about every 5 mins and so slow it would of been quicker to write a letter and post it. Took it to Acronym. Got told it need a new power supply and a couple of other parts needed replacing. After considering the price decided on an upgrade to a completley refurbished 27" model. Got a great trade in deal for my knackered 21" imac. Service was second to none. Very pleased with my imac. Nothing is to much trouble for them. Would highly recommend Acronym for yr pc problems.

About ten years ago I bought a reconditioned Dell XPS with a touch screen feature. After some research I discovered that this model was praised by all the Tech journalists of the day as the best that money could buy, and by buying it ‘reconditioned’, I had managed to get it, at a third of the normal price. My rational, as it often is, being that there are people that have too much money and buy stuff they do not need meaning – hopefully- some bargains to be had, in the often-overlooked secondhand market. I used the laptop extensively every day, until just recently when slowly it started to develop some issues. I contacted Dell UK, scanning the unique serial number (under the casing) into their website, but they declared it “End of life” and enquired from me no further, presumably meaning, that I should just toss it. After so much happy use, I just didn’t want to throw this ‘state of the art’ item away, the model is still available and still sells for a lot of money. I had already been a customer at Acronym and have always been happy with their customer first focus. For example, after slightly damaging the computer hinge several years ago, during busy international travel with my rucksack, the advice they gave, was that it was only cosmetic, and without charging me, but with a smile (it’s a family business) told me that fixing it would be a waste of money and not really necessary. Fast forward several years and I have just got my Dell back from Acronym, after placing it with them with these new, more serious issues. It now looks and performs like a new Laptop, with the previously deemed cosmetic issue, also being taken care of. Even if I get only another 5 years (I’m hoping for ten) out of it, that must be better than adding to the garbage heap that these modern times seem to have normalized. New tech is definitely not so daunting with Acronym by my side. I have superb personalised on-going support service - with all my questions answered in terms I can understand. I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend thIs shop.

Realized I was out of my depth putting together a gaming machine - a phone call and all sorted no problem with the friendly guys in the shop even explaining some of the technicalities for me. Service almost as smooth and fast as my new machine! I’ll definitely be back when it’s time to upgrade.

I had to get my laptop cleaned. Acronym was superbly easy to deal with. Very flexible. The staff there are patient and understanding. Bought a refurbished laptop at an amazing price. I sincerely recommend this outfit.

I was completely panicked as I'd dropped my laptop and it wasn't turning on, with some urgent deadlines. I rang up as soon as they opened this morning, and was told they would be able to help me straight away.

Not only did they manage to get all the data off my old laptop extremely quickly, they were very helpful in assisting me with choosing a new laptop (as I had been planning to buy a new one anyway), explaining how I can back up my data in future and setting up everything so that I was ready to go.

Easily the best computer repair shop I have ever been to (and I am very clumsy so have had to use a few!) I would recommend this place to everyone.

I needed a full screen replacement for a MacBook Pro. They assessed the problem and were able to source a new screen very quickly despite the Christmas rush. The job was done promptly and on budget. All in all the provided a really excellent, friendly and highly professional service. I would definitely recommend them for any computer issues and will certainly use them again myself.

Service was fast and professional, I needed a fast laptop at a good price and sent out for next day delivery, this was provided and I was given a free new laptop bag also! Cheers mate

Despite not being a customer of Acronym per se, I feel compelled to write a review. I sparked up my three-month-old laptop the other day, only to be denied access by Win10. A bit of web research revealed that this is a common problem, but none of the dozens of suggested fixes I found on forum & support sites worked for me. I contacted Microsoft Support, who spent half an hour taking me through the protocols before decided that the only remaining option would be for me to reinstall Win10 (thus wiping my hard drive). I downloaded the necessary files, but before taking the plunge, I decided to nip round the corner to Acronym, on the off-chance they might have a suggestion that would avoid such drastic steps.
Othman was friendly, helpful and very patient with the borderline computer-illiterate asking for help, and within about two minutes he had diagnosed the problem, got me into the laptop and given me advice on how to rectify the issue. And he wouldn't accept any payment. This is the way customer service should always be, and I won't hesitate to return should I need to employ their services.

My laptop wouldn't switch on, and it was repaired swiftly and keeping me informed about prices and options. Very friendly customer service too. Thank you Acronym Computers!
