Great value even with existing medical conditions

the insurance is easy to purchase. I have no experience of making a claim so cannot comment on this most important aspect of having insurance

Excellent service, the only complaint is that my holiday destination (Lanzarote) was not available on the drop list, I chose Spain as the only option and felt I had to call the helpline to confirm, this was done to my satisfaction. Please extend the list to avoid confusion. Many thanks.

Read the small print VERY carefully. Despite purchasing specific cruise cover with my policy, my claim, after months of waiting, was declined. Relatives were compensated for the same losses, with a much cheaper and less well known institution. Won’t be back!

Update:

Following my original posting, the underwriter revisited my claim and decided it had been erroneously declined. The loss was covered, plus a small additional sum, in recognition of the error. I sincerely thank them for their response; shame it needed to be done this way though.

I have never needed to use my medical insurance before but having had a particularly nasty insect bite in Italy, I requested advice, sending relevant pictures. The doctor rang less than an hour later with a recommendation for purchases from the pharmacy- brilliant service and reassurance when needed.

This is a ridiculous request to review a product or a company. I will be able to give an opinion after my holiday if I have needed the insurance.
