I recently advertised my car for sale - through a well known Auto trader website. I received a call from Louis at AAB cars within an hour of the advert going live. Louis told me he was a car dealer looking to buy my car for stock, we agreed a price and he paid a deposit into my bank within a few minutes. Louis arranged collection the next day, at a time that suited me to avoid a work commitment. Hi staff arrived on time and the sale was completed very professionally and quickly without fuss, exactly as louis had promised. The full balance of funds was in my bank before the car was driven away. It has to be the simplest, quickest, and most efficient sale I have experienced - I can highly recommend Louis, AAB cars and the team there.

I recently sold my Hyundai i10 to AAB Cars (Southampton) after listing it on AutoTrader. Louis was one of the first to get in touch, and from the start he was professional, friendly, and straightforward. He offered a fair price, even with a paint blemish that I had clearly shown in the photos, which I really appreciated. He shared the Trustpilot reviews which were all very positive and helped me decide to proceed.

He was prompt in paying a deposit and then arranging a quick collection.

The collection was handled by Dave and Brad, who arrived on time and made the whole process quick and stress free. Both were polite, efficient, and easy to deal with. They checked the car matched the pictures (of course !) but did not try to say that there was such and such a scratch and the price needed to be amended etc

Payment was made by BACs transfer and both waited until it was clear the funds were in my account before proceeding with the transfer of ownership (all online, very easy).

Based on my experience, it’s no surprise they have strong reviews on Trustpilot already.

Louis made contact and was upfront about being in the motor trade, he gave a price for the car which was slightly lower than I wanted but having sold privately many times before I am tired of the hassle from tire kickers and dodgy people who seem to be drawn to certain cars. I told Louis I would think about it and get back to him, he didn’t chase or hassle for the deal, I contacted Louis and the car was collected that afternoon by Brad and Dave who were also great people to deal with. The price Louis offered from the first call was paid at time of collection fast and easy and honest, I highly recommend them.

I had a faultless experience selling my car with AAB cars. I received an offer from Louis very shortly after advertising my car for sale. After a quick negotiation we agreed on a price and he sent me a deposit the next day. The process could have been done within 72 hours but I had to wait for a new V5 which delayed it my end but Louis was understanding and very accommodating.

When I did receive my V5, we agreed a date and time for collection of the vehicle and Brad from AAB cars gave me a courtesy call on the day to let me know they were on their way.

Brad and his colleague arrived and quickly looked over the car to make sure the details they were given and any damage was correct from what was told to them, and they very quickly informed their office that everything checked out and full payment was received within 10 minutes. There was no haggling, no gimmicky intimidation tactics to try and knock the price down, just two genuine and friendly men who dealt with the sale quickly and efficiently. The even dealt with the DVLA online selling form so I didn’t have to do a thing.

The whole experience with AAB was brilliant and I would 100% sell to them again in a heartbeat the next time I sell a vehicle.

AAB Cars fully explained their approach to pricing and handover. With one further car to sell in February, I will be giving then a call before asking anyone else.
