Be careful—this is a scam!
I clearly selected a 1-month subscription, but I was charged for 3 months by a separate company based in Sweden (which seems to own Wohnungswap). I contacted them twice—after receiving the 2nd and 3rd invoices—but only got a response now. They refuse to refund me or acknowledge my previous emails. This is not just shady, but they're also taking advantage of the housing crisis in Berlin. What a shame!

Unfortunately, it might be the best option for exchanging your apartment out there (although I lose more and more faith in actually finding a dedicated swapping apartment as barely anyone answers messages here), as other services in Berlin/Germany are even worse, but this page is pretty terrible. The loading time takes ages, the page freezes quite often, the map function is really terrible with icons often disappearing and you have to reload and start from the beginning so you lose the area where you were searching, there are loads of apartment ads that are really old where the poster has not logged in for more than a month, so you will never match with these. On top of it all, when I wrote to the support mentioning all these issues and asked for a refund of the 30 EUR I paid to get full access to the service, I just got a short and rather unfriendly message saying that if I was so unhappy with their service I should have requested a refund within the first 2 weeks, which is way too short time to realize how useless the page is.
Post your ad here I guess, but don't pay the 30 EUR for the premium access, completely wasted money!
